Only 2 for me so far, sort of invalidating my 10-0 record... But, I got 3 users in a row starting tonight.
Clemson and Florida State battle for the Atlantic. Clemson got on the board first with a FG and TD on their first two drives. FSU scored on a 33 yard HB Vaughn TD run straight up the gut. Tigers QB Kelly would go on to throw two interceptions in a row. After the first one, FSU was denied 4 times from the endzone inside the 5. The second one lead to a FSU FG, who was once again kept out of the endzone. 10 all at half. That tie didn't last long. FSU returened the opening kickoff 109 yards for 6. Clemson took a different appraoch to scoring. 11 run plays to 1 pass play, and Clemson scored on HB Johnson TD. Tigers MLB Young would then pick off QB Everett, getting the ball inside the 1 yard line. HB Berg scored on the next play, giving Clemson a 24-17 lead. FSU would be able to score to tie it back up. HB Campbell would then bust off a 50 yard run to get the ball inside the 5 and score on a couple of plays later. Young would then pick off Everett again on a pass over the middle, giving the Tigers the spot in the ACC championship game. GG Kapono #7 Clemson 31 - #3 FSU 24
I am, Although I plan to do something "revolutionary" should Recchem allow it. In regard to the CPU, it's more their offense than anything else.
I still want to run an Air Raid offense, however, my "twist" would be that the only running plays in my playbook would be designed QB runs and runs off motion; there would not be any designed runs to a HB that starts in the backfield. Does that make sense? Basically my runs would be jet/fly sweeps, QB powers/draws/dives/keeps. I wouldn't be adding any HB RO and just keep with the QB if that's what you're wondering.
SEC CCG Alabama - 31 Florida - 14 The Tide flood the Gators to take home the SEC conference championship. Florida turned the ball over 6 times total, most of them while they were trying to come back from a 21-7 3rd quarter uprising by the Tide. Florida would take a quick 7-0 lead on a 2 yard TD run by Herron. Bama would respond with a lengthy TD drive capped off by a Henry 3 yard TD run. A few turnovers and some punts would follow until finally Alabama would get the ball back late in the 2nd quarter. However their drive would stall and the Tide settled for a 25 yard field goal to take a 10-7 lead into the half. 3rd quarter fireworks...Joe McDonald would take an option pitch and rumble 63 yards for a TD to give the Tide a 17-7 lead with 5 minutes left in the 3rd. Following a Florida turnover, QB Morris would connect with WR Foster for a 40 yard TD pass to take a 24-7 lead with 4 minutes left in the 3rd. Florida would strike back, scoring and a Lane 5 yard TD run, cutting the lead to 24-14. However, HB McDonald would take the inside hand off for 61 yards and a TD for a 31-14. Florida tried to mount a comeback but continued to turn the ball over while Bama just ran out the clock while they could. GG SatansAngel1104 Not sure what the difference was with this one and the game week 2 earlier in the season. I had some big plays and you didn't so I guess that was the difference.
ACC CCG HB Cambell was looking for his 7th straight 100 yard rushing game after coming back from injury. But it was the Hokies that took the early lead, as their offense moved effortlessly for a Jackson to Stanley TD. Clemson responded with a 4 yard TD run by Campbell. But the Tigers next drive would result in a pick 6 by QB Kelly, and it was 14-7 VT. Kelly would once again throw another interception, giving the Hokies great field position. But Stanley would return the favor with his own interception, keeping the game close. The Tigers capped off the drive with a Berg TD run. Another Jackson/Stanley TD with 4 seconds before halftime gave VT a 21-14 lead, getting the ball first. It was the Tigers who scored first though. After pounding the rock on the ground, it was Kelly off play action to TE Wade for a 15 yard TD. Stanley would then throw his second interception, and once again it was a play action pass to Wade for a 28-21 Tiger lead. And they would hold onto the lead for good. And HB Campbell would reach 100 yards, racking up 121 in the game. GG Boom29 #4 Clemson 38 - Virginia Tech 27
