Seattle Times At the half way mark through the season the Seattle Seahawks sit at 3-5, 3 games back in the NFC West. There has been many ups and downs so far this season for the Seahawks including a quarterback change, an up and down offense, and a defense that is playing solid football up to this point. "Offensively we started off rough to begin the year, obviously not where we want to be", Coach David said in an interview Wednesday morning. "Our defense has been playing well enough to win us some football games but we haven't been able to capitalize on it". Defensively for the Seahawks, EJ Henderson is leading the team with 5 interceptions and 2 for a TD while leading the team in tackles at 29. Offensively for the Hawks, Marshawn Lynch has been carrying the load. Rushing for 551 yards with 5 TD's and averaging 4 yards per carry. The main receiving threat for the Seahawks as been Golden Tate. Who leads the team in yards with 362 and 3 TD's. "After this last win, I'm hoping we can get on a roll and rack off a few victories to get us back to .500 then possibly make a playoff run", Coach David said. Well up next for the SeaHawks they have a tough challenge in the Minnesota Vikings who have been playing really well lately.
