"I am excited for the opportunity to do something special here in Seattle. I know there is the talent necessary to compete in the top flight here in TFS. The expectations will be high from the great supporters here. I wouldnt have it any other way as I have high expectations myself. The opportunity to take a squad from the MLS to the top of Serie A was the biggest reason i made this jump to the United States and I expect to compete for titles here." -Manager CMac in his first presser with the Seattle media as he talks about the team.

Not the dream start Manager CMac was hoping for stateside but it was not a disaster either. The sounders walk away with a 0-0 draw and 1 point on the road at the upstart of Serie A A_Touch_Of_Class Saint-Etienne squad. A fair result given the flow of things. Both teams will feel they deserved a goal. Well played defensive effort from both clubs and outstanding goalkeeping. "He was able to neutralize are speed on the wings and put a roadblock on our offensive gameplan. I though Martins was a bright spot in out attack and he had chances at goal. Give their keeper credit. Their are worse results in the world. Happy we were able to keep a clean sheet. We are confident the offense will come and if our defense plays like this, we have a lot to look forward too."
    Fantasy Roundup:

Oba Oba Martins is the hero for Seattle. The Sounders win their first match of the season with some late drama. Oba Martins had a goal called off in the 82' for offside, in the 90' he made sure he was on and slotted it home to give the MLS side their first win TFS history. Mario Martinez was the unlikely guy to get Seattle their first goal of the campaign but he did that in the 33' off a beautiful feed for Alonso as he crushed it top corner. Sunderland' and manager juanchoCT14 lethal weapon in Steven Fletcher equalized with a beauty in the 55'. Manager Cmac is far too familiar with Fletcher putting the ball in the net from the days they shared at Wolverhampton together. A flurry of late chances both ways finally corrollated in the 90' when Martins finally notched a goal for a Seattle striker off a beautiful layoff from Martinez. "We were the better side today and im glad we were able to finally get a couple of goals. We still had a few too many lapses in the back which are minor fixes. Obviously our guys need to hit the shooting range, but i think it all boils down to confidence. I would expect some numbers to start going up"
    Fantasy Roundup:
Oba Martins (ATT, Sea) - GS 4 Points - Zikry
The only points earned in the match are Zikry for the Oba Martins goal. Martinez would have been high point man but all other point gainers in this match were free agents.

"We cant argue with the results. We didnt expect to be playing this well defensively with no goal scoring to go with it. We, along with everyone else i believe, thought this squad would be trying to outscore people. Credit our players for working hard to keep clean sheets. We dont care how we get 3 points, just care that we do." These were the words of wisdom from Manager Cmac squad as his team has won back to back games after the opening draw. Oba Martins is the lone goal scorer on a great individual effort as he struck from distance in the 54'th. There were a few other good scoring chances both ways. The biggest one was when Sounders keeper made a couple huge saves on a breakaway for Anzhi's Bossufa.

The Holiday House Derby has always been one sided between managers Cmac and rschwep. You would not have been able to guess that that lopsidedness was in CMac's favor in the first half as Hannover jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Lightning struck twice just before half with a pair of 45th minute goals for the Sounders which gives us the 2-2 draw. Schlaudraff had a brace for the away side. The Sounders goals came from unlikely places with defender Traore notching one in the scoring column as well as CDM Alonso. A draw was the fair result. Seattle is starting to go away from their early season defensive succes though the goal scoring is coming around. They will need to find a balance to start getting the proper results

    Schlaudraff (ATT, H96) 2 GS 8 Points - A_Touch_Of_Class
Traore (DEF, Sea) GS 6 Points - juanchoCT14
Zakuani (ATT, Sea) Ast 3 Points - rschwep

Haupagge Hd PvR yeah. It's awesome. Idk if I have the computer power/internet capable of live streaming. I'm gonna experiment some. I will probably have some sort of low quality livestream going and then recording it in HD and posting after. Really simple, very cool.

Sorry for no sound. Forgot to hook a cord up.
This was the coming out party for the Sounders. Yes they were unbeaten in their first four league matches of the season, but this was the Seattle side many expected to see. The big 3 up top for the Sounders all contributed for the first time this season and the result was a 4-1 win, on the road, at Serie A mainstay RedAL925's LOSC Lille side. Oba Martins was phenomenal in this match. He got the scoring started in the 21' as he hit one timed a pass from Mario Martinez while falling away from goal. Oba added another one 5 minutes later. This time the beneficiary of a lucky bounce off a Lille defender. Steve Zakuani finall showed up in a big way. His tally in the 32' was a clever use of speed as he attacked from the wing and banged it off the back post. Lille looked as though they were gonna push to make this a fight as they scored a beauty just before the half. Shifty dribbling from Kalou who found Roux in the box for the easy goal. Lille had to feel good getting to half down just 3-1. The Sounders werent having it. They were able to bunker down and shut out Lille in the second half. There were some big saves from Gspurning along the way. Eddie Johnson found the net in the 87' as Lille had to throw men forward. Hopefully the goal will spark his confidence as well. "We played our best game of the season. That is a well managed side we were able to control today. This is what we expect out of our offense on a game by game basis. When we play well and get the bounces, these are the results we are capable of." - Manager CMac

Oba Martins will be kicking himself for not scoring in this match as he had 3 or 4 chances to put Seattle ahead. This draw will leave a bad tast in the players mouths for certain as they just couldnt find a way to get 3 points at home. This is no disrespect to the well managed Tigres and IJGator. They had their share of chances as well and im sure they feel they could have won the game as well. Either way, it is another point and more solid defense from the "Rave Green". They have to think that most days they play this well in the back, they will get all 3 points.
I recorded a video but noone is gonna sit through a 0-0 draw and watch lol

A pretty even match between these two sides as the Sounders were able to exact revenge against a dooz Swansea side, who beat them in Coppa play, by winning this league tilt 2-0. Eddie Johnson continues to gain steam adding another goal. Martins scored a nice goal to really put this away just before half with a great turn and finish. Swansea had a couple solid chances and hit the woodwork with a missile once but were unable to get one past Gspurning who continues to be the surprise of the season.

The last two unbeaten in Serie A remain that way following a dramatic 2-2 draw. Seattle seemed well on their way to victory holding a 2-0 lead after 80 minutes. Oba Martins scored a brace as he tapped in his own shot off the post in the 60th minute and scored on a header in the 69th. Lyon rallied late. First it was Bisevac's head off a corner to cut the lead to one. Lacazette sealed the draw for the visiting side with a clever move in the box as he smashed it to the back post. Manager Cmac was not too thrilled after the match. "We had given up just two goals in a a game just once this season. We picked a horrible time to give up 2 in 10 minutes. We missed breakaway, collapsed in the back late, and this is still an incredibly frustrating result. Credit to Lyon and manager Zikry for not going away. Would have been easy to pack it in, but they continued to attack and created their best chances (and finished) when it mattered most."
    Great game Zikry
