Set your DVRs to record because you don't want to miss this one! Knightnoles' Kentucky Wildcats, representing the East will face off against Forever's Alabama Crimson Tide in what should be a classic battle to the end. The clash of the 3 amigos takes place here. Morgan Newton, Donald Russell and Matt Roark look to derail the Tide. While AJ McCarron, Eddie Lacy and Michael Bowman look to tame the Wildcats. Hope you're ready! This should be fun! Good luck to both of you!

Alabama's Michael Bowman, a redshirt Junior leads the Heisman Race coming into Week 14. He had 6 receptions for 203 yards and 3 touchdowns last week with a win over Auburn 56-24.

    What A Week!

Dubbed as "Game Of The Week", Diddy takes his Gators out of the Swamp and travels up North to challenge JCA's Wolverines. Can Diddy bop Michigan's National Title hopes?
    [IMG] [IMG]
Cimmy puts his stick skills to the test against Knightnoles in another game with National Title implications. Will the Nittany Lions send the Wildcats limping into the SEC Championship?
    [IMG] [IMG]
Mr. Ford producer packs his bags to meet up with the Honda man. Lee & Kirk are picking the Ohio State, is their guess worth anything?
    [IMG] [IMG]
Forever gets set to due battle with Mike! Again, another big game with National Title implications. Mike is going to lay it all out on the line but will it be enough to upset the #1 team in the land?

I caught up with both head coaches of the SEC championship game, they kindly answered a few questions I had for them:

Big game this week against a big time talker, what needs to be done in order to get the victory?
Keep a balanced attack, get turnovers and be in the position to win at the end like all year.

Donald Russell went down against Mississippi State and is out for 2 weeks. Other than Morgan Newton, who has to step up in order to help fill that void?
CoShik Williams has stepped up in the running game and the WRs have really come through and have to give some credit to our TE.

You lost 2 years ago in the SEC championship to LSU, what did you take from that loss that can help you in this year's SEC championship game?
Bend but don't break like we have done here at Kentucky, we have to fight through the crucial points of the game and hopefully to have the shot to win at the end of the game.

Qua Huzzie is the anchor on your defense, will he be able to stop Alabama and the Eddie Lacy rushing attack?
He is the leading tackler but this defense has to play together or we will have several breakdowns and will get blown out. Defense just isn't as strong as I would like them to be but as long as we get turnovers everything will be alright.

Tough loss heading into the SEC Championship game, what happened against Baylor and what can you take from that game to learn from?
Yeah, Baylor was a good opponent, but we blame ourselves for the loss. When we needed to move the chains in crucial situations, we became conservative in our play calling and it bit us in the backside!

This is your second straight year of going to the SEC Championship, what are you going to do different in practice and on the field?
Defense! Defense! Defense! We need to get opposing offenses off the field on third and long. That has been the difference in opponents points per game this season!

Huge targets in Michael Bowman and Khalid Weaver, who has to have a bigger game in order for you to win against Kentucky?
Believe it or not, it will have to be the play of converted WR Jesse Myrick. He has hauled in 32 catches for 610yds and 6 td's this season. In order for us to have a chance, Myrick will have to be the x-factor in the game.

You are inexperienced at the cornerback position but your safeties are more than capable. Is this going to hurt you in defending the Kentucky passing attack?
Kentucky has done a lot with a little over there. He has those guys believing in themselves and its going to be a hard fought game. Hopefully, we can contain the big plays and force them into some tough situations to give us a chance to finally get that elusive SEC Championship!
