    SEC WEST preview

LSU looks good on both sides of the ball again this year. The Tigers offense looks very solid with Mike Pennington coming back at the QB spot and the 6'3" speedy ALL American Albert Gray leading the receiving core. It should make for a very exciting offensive year that is if the young offensive line can give Pennington the time he needs. The offense is going to be exciting but the Tigers will win the SEC west by their stellar defense.looking at LSU's depth chart its hard to find any weakness. the defense is lead by senior MLB Jamar Lee.

Tennessee looks good on offense if they can stay balanced. As long as All American RB Josh Davis gets enough touches then the field general Aaron Jackson can go to work with All American WR Mike Butler. Tennessee is going to have a tough time stopping the run with a average at best LB crew but their defensive line looks good.

With that said LSU wins the SEC West with a record of 10 - 2 and Tennessee comes in second with a record of 9-3
