The Sentinels and Dolphins always produce a great contest. These competitive division rivals always put on a show for the spectators in the stands. This game started with a combination of long methodical drives by both teams. The Sentinels were able to get Cam Newton in a groove with his throwing, which set up the ability to allow his running backs to get in some solid touches. The Dolphins had a tremendous amount of success with speedy HB Lamar Miller. Lamar Miller notched 137 yards on 17 attempts with a long rush of 25 yards.

After the impressive long drives by both teams, the game slowed down a little bit and the defenses caught up. This is the first game in recent memory that Dolphins Dion Jordan did not have multiple sacks against Cam Newton. Dolphins Will Davis and Jamar Taylor both had interceptions on the day, one of which was a crucial INT in the endzone for a touchback- which ended a promising Sentinel Drive. The Sentinels had a few INT's of their own with LB Sean Weatherspoon (former Falcon) and Cornerback Stephon Gilmore (former Bills first round pick) adding an interception each.

INJURY NOTICE> The Dolphins shalacked 1st round and starter for the Sentinels running back Kyle Ouri...and he was carried off in a stretcher...He looks to be OUT FOR THE SEASON. The Sentinels will now turn to CJ Spiller and last years computer drafted first round pick HB Navassa Christopher. Kyle our starting RB will be missed. We wish him the best in his recovery.

In the end...the Dolphins were not able to bring enough offense to the table to come away with the Win. Great Game DJDunn6 I look forward to our next match up this season...and then hopefully again in the playoffs ;)
