Saturday HeroesHeisman Watch QB Andrew Luck QB Kellen Moore HB LaMichael James QB Denard Robinson WR Justin Blackmon

What do you think about this list of potential Heisman trophy candidates? Is there anybody in particular that should be added or removed from that list?

Its hard to say so early in the season, but that is a quality list of candidates. If anything I think Blackmon should be removed and replaced with TRich.

Yeah as much as I despise them....I gotta say Richardson will be right there with the rest of these guys. Plus he plays on a loaded team

TR is a Jr heading into this yr. Freshmen yr Backed up Ingram. Last yr Soph Backed up Ingram. Jr yr Starter.

Week 1 QB Andrew Luck - VS SJSU W (48-0): 15-22, 147 Yards, 9 Carries, 25 Yards, 3 Total TD QB Kellen Moore - AT UGA W (38-17): 16-26, 259 Yards, 5 TD, 7 Carries, 17 Yards HB LaMichael James - AT LSU L (41-17): 20 Carries, 87 Yards QB Denard Robinson - VS WMU L (38-35): 14-28, 195 Yards, 2 TD, 16 Carries, 56 Yards WR Justin Blackmon - VS ULL W (35-13): 7 Receptions, 146 Yards, TD Not a very good performance from Andrew Luck against a much weaker opponent in San Jose State. A blowout win might have been the reason his stats aren't too bold. If he is going to stay in the Heisman hunt, he will need to have greater numbers. Another big win for this program as they go in between the hedges and defeat the Dawgs. Moore puts up pretty decent numbers and if he can get his Broncos through the rest of this schedule unblemished, look for him get the trophy. Not very good numbers for LaMichael, although he did play a very tough SEC team in LSU. Expect James to bounce back. A coming out party from a guy who replaced Dez Bryant. 7 receptions and 146 yards is "beast mode".

Week 2 NEWCOMER HB Le Veon Bell from Bellefontaine, Ohio joins the Heisman race in Week 2 with a brilliant performance against Florida Atlantic. Although it is against a much inferior defense, he still put up the numbers. Bell finished with 30 Carries, 207 Yards, 13 Receiving Yards, 2 Total TD The Top 4 QB Andrew Luck - AT DUKE W (44-28): 22-32, 333 Yards, 4 TD 9 Carries, 35 Yards QB Kellen Moore - BYE HB LaMichael James - VS NEVADA W (24-17): 20 Carries, 202 Yards, 2 TD, 2 Receptions, 22 Yards QB Denard Robinson - VS ND W (34-31): 14-34, 256 Yards, 4 TD, 12 Carries, 65 Yards

Week 3 NEWCOMER QB EJ Manuel from Williamsburg, Va jumps into the Heisman hunt after a nice performance against Oklahoma. Manuel led the Seminoles to a victory while also putting up some good numbers. Manuel went 22-44, 240 Yards, 3 TD, 17 Carries, 50 Yards. The Top 5 Table QB Andrew Luck - AT ARIZONA W (35-19):19-25, 316 Yards, 16 Carries, 35 Yards, 4 Total TD QB Kellen Moore - AT TOLEDO W (35-10): 13-21, 189 Yards, 2 TD HB Le Veon Bell - QB EJ Manuel - HB LaMichael James -

I think it is time to start considering this guy... 115 Attempts (T2nd in country) 581 YDs (4th in country) 5 TDs (T4th in country) Long of 65 YDs (3rd in country) 0 Fumbles

Week 7 QB EJ Manuel - AT WAKE W (41-10): 11-30, 216 Yards, 16 Carries, 78 Yards, 5 Total TD QB Case Keenum - VS ECU W (38-35): 27-38, 379 Yards, 5 TD, 10 Carries, 31 Yards QB Andrew Luck - VS CU W (45-21):23-33, 257 Yards, 6 Carries, 14 Yards, 5 Total TD HB Le Veon Bell - AT TOSU W (31-24): 14 Carries, 76 Yards HB Brandon Bolden - VS NEVADA W (29-17): 18 Carries, 107 Yards, 2 TD, 3 Receptions, 40 Yards
