FUCK WILL WALL!!!! JFace907 1 point from a freaking triple crown. Least favorite player by far, minus Scotty Clay
I get to 80-73 then lose 9 in a row to finish 80-82...if the 5 year rule were still around I'd fucking rage so hard lol.
Either I fucked up or the game, but looks like John Preston can't play in the playoffs. I had ordered him to beam Wall.
Team By Team Also this tidbit of information: Surprising to come out ahead of the Braves. Not playing in a play-in WC game was probably the best as we were 0-7 against the Giants, lol. #neverwillknowthough
It's been a long time if we have. But I'd bet it's one of the first times. I'm surprised it was that close. My team was pretty awful this year I thought, was really surprised to see us finish .500.
The Oakland A's finished extremely strong with a 19-10 September and a 19-4 record against teams not named the angels. Bob Lewis went 5-2 after getting traded and bill Crocker hit .340 in September. Next spring there will be a huge battle between Kaz and Ennis in spring training for the LF job potentially. Also, it looks like Keller will get a few starts in AAA and then be in Oakland by May barring any injuries. Also look for Jeckel Wimmer to make a push for a spot in the rotation next year . Very excited about next season.
First sub .500 season in a while for the Astros... Excuses: Not sure if any of Kingwell, Davidson, Holt or Brito hit 110+ games this season. All but Brito still had profuctive seasons but missing so much time was hard to overcome. -13 pyt diff is probably my biggest difference I've had Mcpherson having his typical even season, good news is next season is odd Wallace's big regression after trading for him late last season to be a #3 Cavallaro hitting .180 after trade and then taking a 6 month break
I'm thankful this lost season is finally done. Injuries ravaged my starting pitching, and the injury to Avila didn't help the offense. By the time Taylor and Avila came back we were miles out of the playoff chase so there was not much point in playing them a ton and risking next season. I'm hoping that I'll have better luck with health in 2031, but the first couple of months of the season will be very important. I decided to keep together the core of the roster and see if we can contend next season, but if the team plays more like the 2030 version than the 2029 one, then all bets are likely off and major movement of veterans may be in the cards.
