Didn't see this posted , yet, I saw it on OS. It should be interesting what details come out of this announcement. ie double-team pass blocking, etc..... Thoughts?
roadman here ya go Nice video SimFBallCritic Question for you sim: Is the bullrush animation quicker than in years past? I know I've seen that animation trigger and by the time the DLineman picks his head back up, the ball carrier is usually out of the backfield.
Thanks guys. Here is a breakdown of what Sim was stating in the video. 5 new "Pull Block" animations. 8 new Run Block double team interaction animations. 6 new "Reach Blocks." 20+ new Pass Block/Pass Rush interaction animations. New zone step blocking interaction animations. New lateral & vertical displacement animations for OL & DL interactions. 30 new blocking schemes. All new pass blocking locomotion. All new open field targeting system. Completely reworked impact blocks and decleaters.
I'm interested in watching this video when I get home. Keep in mind, I've played M25, kind of curious about some of this stuff.
FYI, it's just a video of the defensive trailer you have posted yesterday. He does slow it down, but he wanted to get the word out there as he had permission from the developers to release the list above. I'm assuming more to be shown between now and E3?
Hard to say Peench, the build I played wasn't complete. I was advised that everything hasn't been done, still a lot that will be added/adjusted before launch. I can say from what I saw it definitely was more effective. It will come down to how they finish and execute.
Surprised you care about Offensive Line blocking because you choose to run around the field with your QB like a fool anyhow.
Hope the "animations" equal to execution and engagement. The animation only matters if the act is carried out. As SimFB said hopefully its executed in-game.
This is amazing news. I am getting more and more excited for this game as each update comes out. If they can really fine tune the blocking or at least begin to make that effort towards that; we are going to have an amazing football game for years to come.
