In their second meeting with the Rams, the Cards were once again able to come out with a victory thanks in large part to a career game from QB John Skelton in which he threw for over 300 yards and 4 touchdowns while posting a perfect QB rating. The game didn't start out well for the Cards as the Rams were able to drive right down field to start the game and score a touchdown on a Chaz Shillens reception to take the lead 7-0. Coming right back, Skelton would lead the Cards back down field and would find Michael Floyd all alone for the touchdown reception to tie the game at 7. On the next possession, the Cards defense would force a fumble and take over at midfield. Skelton again would throw a touchdown reception, this time to Larry Fitzgerald as the Cards took a 14-7 lead. Following a field goal by the Rams to cut the lead to 14-10, Skelton would come back again this time finding Todd Heap for the score to make it 21-10. The Rams would score their last touchdown to cut the lead within 4 again but Skelton would add another touchdown pass to Michael Floyd and a rushing touchdown from Ryan Williams helped the Cardinals pull away with a 35-17 victory.
