Anyone up for playing some user games so I can have a baseline for sliders?
Just to let you know, a couple of the things I am personally looking for when I start messing with settings:
Games that have as close as possible to the right number of plays, without going over an hour per game (on average).
Backups that rotate in due to fatigue.
Injuries occur with realistic frequency. (May reevaluate since I don't think there is IR or PUP)
All three of these items tie to the fact that progression is based on production. In order for defenders to reach their goals we need to have the appropriate amount of plays.
Also, I would prefer it per play averages stay in line with reality. That might mean I make it harder to run the ball and throw it deep.
I'll download the early release tonight when I get home. I probably wont get home until midnight or so tonight though. I'll have the morning & afternoon tomorrow to play a few games if anyone wants to.
Shaun.. remember what happened with NCAA? If you have full version, you probably can't play any early release noobs.
Also.. are you gonna get a league description/rules thread up at some point? Let me know if you want any assistance.
Will it get posted rigt at midnight?
I think 6:00 pm EST tonight is the season pass release
I need to play the game before getting rules up. CCM enforced a lot of the stuff, like roster limits, cap, etc.
Yea, I know. That's why I'm asking for volunteers, I can't play anyone.
I should be able to get my ass handed to me some tonight. Shaun Mason anything you'd like us to start with?
Just default All Pro
On default all-pro only thing I adjusted was speed threshold to 35, game play to slow, quarter length 7 minutes, clock runoff turned off. Number of plays was solid, gameplay felt good. AI Pass defense really good. Pass rush felt good. Everything actually felt pretty nice. Granted that was only 2.5 games. Tried 8 minute quarters with no runoff and it felt a bit long. Plays were 70+ per side which seemed like a lot.
Would like to try like 10 minutes with some clock runoff. I so wish there was a chew clock option in Madden!!
Try 10 minutes with 20 second runoff.
Perfect. Just got done playing one. Plays were both around 60 per side. Game was a hair less than an hour long.
Good, that's in line with:

I can play some tonight if anyone is down.
Im gonna be honest... Outside of pass protection everything seems good on All pro.
I will try to be around a tv later tonight to help with tuning...
Is pass protection too good or not good enough?
Im having trouble getting pressure with 2 solid pass rushers. Same issue as NCAA. Unless you send 5+ rushers or get a coverage sack, youre not getting to the QB often.
Definitely getting a lot of pressure with the Giants front 4 on default. It's just coming from teh right side though, which still bugs me so much
I keep trying Harrison and Woodley either usering them or not, and after 6 games I have maybe 2 sacks between them?
That's pretty weak. I'll grab my stats for the season after I"m done this game
PAgamer07 through 3 games JPP has 5 sacks and Tuck has 3. I'd like to see how other people are doing.
Also, what do you think about the interception slider? Leave it alone?
I've only played one user game, the rest CPU. It seems ok to me. Still seeing drops which is good. Although #7 did have a game where he threw 4 and the CPU didnt drop a thing. Think it was an anomaly. What do you think?
Also.. are you playing on 35 threshold, slow speed?
