    Slider Data Collection

    Hi guys,

Since everyone should have the game, I would like to try to guage how we will compete against the CPU so I can look into sliders.

So, if you play a game today, could you play on 7 minute All-American and post the result?

Having the following would be useful (at a minimum):
    Teams
    Score
    Total Offense
Rushing Yards (please include carries and YPC)
Passing Yards (include completions, attempts, TD, INT)
    Turnovers
    Time of Possession.

Anyway, we are all going to play the crap out of the game, taking a minute to data collect won't take long.

    Thanks,
    Shaun

Couple questions (I'm working a half day today to "take care of the baby" :D)

    1) Do you want us to play with the team we intend on playing with in this OD?

    2) What speed? (I currently have mine at balls fast, like I did with last years Madden)

After lunch today I'll be "working from home" which means that my laptop will be on and connected to work and sitting next to me so that I can respond to emails and IMs, but that's about all. (y)

    1) Not unless you want to...a good variety would be nice (powerhouse vs powerhouse, vs cupcake, etc)

    2) Normal - We won't be speeding up.

    (Me) Oregon 38 @ Wisconsin 20

    Oregon QB 7/10 115 Yds, 2 TD, 0 INTs

HB Lamichael James 23 Atts, 211 Yds, 2 TDs, 9 ypc

Wisconsin QB 13/21 214 Yds, TD, 4 INTs

HB John Clay 10 atts, 141, 2 TDs, 14.1 ypc

Oregon Total Offense: 360 Yards Wisconsin: 357

The 4 INTs is really what killed the badgers, one being a pick 6. They were throwing terrible INTs and kept doing it... when they should have been poundin Clay because they were having success with that as you can see. He had about 14 ypc. One thing I liked was at the end they were taking shots deep with 4 minutes left, scored, AND kicked the onside kick.

As for HB James on Oregon, dude is a beast!! I had 2 nasty runs that I saved videos of here:

    http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/22273768

    http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/22274064

Nasty Run by HB Clay, not only did he pound the line, run over a tackler, but then had the speed to take it to the house:

    http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/22273905

Another nice feature for videos, you can choose "upload all" and it will upload every video that you have saved for that game.

    - cpu refused to go deep, despite me getting burned a couple of times
    - cpu did burn me once, but I hit him (late to the point I would have called a fumble) and he dropped the ball
    - My lost fumble was cause by the second time I decided to fight for extra yards (that's a good thing)

Oh, forgot to add that I played this game exactly like NCAA'10, same playbook, same style, same playcalling.

AA/7 minutes/Michigan (me) vs. ND (CPU)

I got another pick 6. I'm probably averaging 1 pick 6 per game and that's, sadly, a large junk of my "offense." I won this on a FG as time expired 27-24.

This was 2 no huddle teams and we only combined for 105 plays (which is a fairly decent number for normal teams, but maybe low for no huddle teams)

    • Denard was 8 - 20 - 214 with 2 TD / 2 int passing and 8 -47 with 1 TD rushing. One INT came off a tipped pass that the MLB caught abd the other was a horrible read that the FS played perfectly. His speed int open field is evident. Tate played horrible for two series.
    • Vincent Smith had 78 yards on 17 carries
    • Odoms cuaght a 62 yard TD and Junior Hemingway had a 71 yard catch and score.
    • Two sacks on Pryor in the 4th quarter when they were behind, one on Robinson that was a coverage sack even though my line was like a swinging gate for most of the game. I managed to escape the others or throw the ball away, thus the 12 incompletions.

I think AA will be to easy or we need to find a way to combat these pick 6's. I am getting them every game as well and they are not true user picks. The CPU seems to throw them right to my CB.

This game started off with me going down 0-14 quickly as Michigan stuffed my run game and picked me off. Into the second half my team started dominating out of nowhere. Greg Jones would record 3 Picks, 2 for TD's. While D Line would continously put pressure on Forcier. My receivers played pretty well, one catching a 81 yard pass and Charlie Gantt would play a huge role as he caught 5 catches for 98 yards. Forcier would also fumble at the beginning of the 4th quarter, the player recovering the fumble would get tackled in the endzone for a safety. RE #94 who I can't remember his name had 7 Tackles, 2 Sacks, and 1 Safety, he was a huge part to stuffing the run.

Yep, you read that right -- Purdue coughed it up 6 times (3 FL, 3 INT) to my none. I returned 3 of those for touchdowns to make the rest of this game unplayable.

Of note: this is going to take some serious adjusting.

I played a game with me using SD State vs UCLA. AA difficulty, 7 minute quarters. Game came down to the wire with me winning 27-24 on a really lucky pass play for an 81 yard TD. No defensive TD's, one turnover each side. I couldn't run at all, but my OL was garbage. My passing game was ok though.

In regards to the pick 6's, I'm curious if everyone is running mainly man defense. I know I started using nothing but man in the demo and the CPU if you pressured them would tend to throw late to the outside which is a pick 6 waiting to happen. I ran mostly zone in my game and had very few TO's. Just curious. Also, what were the CPU QB throwing accuracy's? I've noticed that the QB's with average to below average accuracy will tend to throw a few really bad passes during a game.

I just doubt that moving to Heisman will help matters, beyond having CPU robo QB's in every game.

I'll play a game with Texas tonight probably.

I run a 3-4 and I'm always good about switching up man and zone. I usually play about 50/50 man/zone.

    • Brandon Weeden 19-32 for 297 yards an 3 TDs. I threw a bunch of deep balls to try to get the feel for feel. Most were broken up by the deep safeties.
    • Before leaving mid-1st quarter with an injury HB Kendall Hunter had two rushes for 23 yards and a reception for another 19. He looks explosive with the ball. His replacement #36 had 11 carries for 93 yards.
    • My O-line gave up one recorded sack and had no pancakes which I was expecting to have a few of since my o-line i much better than their d-line. And I only recorded one sack against their offense.
    • Sill no pick six in any of the three games played thus far but I have had a fumble recovery for a TD in the last two.

In this game I ran more from under center and even though about 75% of my runs were from the SG, at least 75% of my yards were from under center. For me, it's WAY easier to run from under center (which means it sucks to be me).

Oregon running from the spread sucked major league ass.

Wow, I really struggled in this game. Of those 107 rushing yards, 94 came on one play on a Wildcat Jet Sweep that my HB took the distance. The rest was very difficult. I am having a tough time running ANYWHERE. Cam Newton is going to be interesting. I think I just still need to get more used to the game. Jacory Harris shredded my defense, but that is to be expected -- they aren't that good. The Miami passing game actually felt pretty realistic.

The CPU has absolutely no running game on default AA.

*EDIT* Clearly didn't write down the TOP correctly, it's off by 5 minutes.
