    Slider discussion

    The current sliders:

    Column 1
    Sliders
    Offense Human CPU
    QB Accuracy 40 10
    Pass Block 50 15
    WR Catching 50 50
    RB Ability 55 50
    Run Blocking 50 40
    Defense Human CPU
    Pass Coverage 35 30
    Pass Rush 75 75
    Interceptions 20 10
    Running Defense 25 50
    Tackling 55 45
    Special Teams Human CPU
    FG Power 25 30
    FG Accuracy 50 50
    P Power 50 50
    P Accuracy 50 60
    Kickoff Power 45 70


    My suggestions:
    • Decrease Human QB accuracy -20
    • Increase CPU pass coverage +10
    • Increase CPU run block +5
    • Decrease Human run block -5
    • Decrease Human Interceptions -5
    • Decrease Human RB Ability -5

    Thoughts?

    these arent the currents.....i havent had time to update the slider sets we are using now ...

    u can go on the OD look at them and then come back with some suggestions

    Disagree on the RB ability and interceptions. I have found that decreasing your RB ability below 50 will decrease the reality of the player, especially in speed in the second level. Interceptions was fixed mostly by the patch. I don't really get a lot so I don't think they are overdone. Human QB accuracy I think is about right but a decrease may be necessary but 20 is too much IMO. CPU pass coverage I haven't noticed as being a problem so I will let someone else chime in on that one.

    Overall I like the sliders we have here. We'll see what bk thinks.

    Those numbers I put were changes, -5 would put RB ability for human at 50. Either way, ill take a look at these in the OD when I get a chance and then update them with the real numbers then.

    I just feel like most of the time the CPU will only put up a good game when they have much, much better talent than the user.

    But at the same time you don't want to water down the teams we work so hard to build. IMHO.

    Yeah let's not water down our teams. We have built some good teams so we should be beating alot of these teams by quite a bit

    Dont lower RB Ability they fumble enough as is, HUm Run BLK must go down 5 points and CPU run DEF must go up 10 points, Also CPU pass defense must go up 10-15 right now me and thievaryx are few of the users who are pass first and right now i just threw a 6 td no int game....


    Now WR's i think HUm WR catch need a 5 point bump and CPU mabey a decrease. Start there are of right now its a joke if you cant see that with stats or scores i dont know what your looking at. You can go user to user game to game and see the stupidity.

    Yep, pass to open up the run... xD

    I don't want to water down our teams, I just want to make CPU games more of a challenge. Although we have built our teams, the CPU should have a fighting chance against us week in and week out (when its not a cupcake)... it doesn't feel this way right now.

    I agree on CPU defense, both on run and pass...

    The stats for user for CPU is really really unrealistic..the cpu defense needs a bump to stop the HUM user from walking alll over them. THe CPU offense is ok

    The only thing that gets under my skin...is when the opposing QB is "untouchable"...no type of defense you throw at him works and he just marches his team downfield culminating in a TD or FG, normally at crucial times in the game. If we alter the HB sliders, then prospects we are trying to bring up are going to be that much more difficult...what exactly is our end goal & what are we trying to fix? I like the sliders as they are now...of course, I may be missing something.

    they wont lol, anyways yea human run blk and acc needs down and CPU defense needs steriods

    altering the human rb ability slider would mean a 95 spd HB wouldn't be 95 spd, he'd be slower. This goes with all his other stats as well

    The RB ability slider at 50 means that all the attributes of the back that you see are what you see on the field as well.

    No one is messing with HUM RUN Ability just the RUn blocking, and hum pass acc
