    shaunlmason suggested these to me.. he said the new patches since we have player will make our sliders kinda iffy

    I for one am in favor of whatever sliders make it hardest, but realistic.

    Well Im not sure how many undefeated teams or one loss teams you had last year, but yeah, you want the sliders challenging and strength of schedule if possible. Check the ones we use in the redshirts, they have been playtested pretty extensively.

    Also recommend the same amount of head to head games for each person..

    I just leave the schedules as is, except for FCS and ACC/SEC Challenge games. There were some user games already in the schedule so I just left them.

    what I want from sliders is making it hard for us to beat teams like Bama and Florida... and I mean HARD. They should be teams to beat every single year, and only get beat by a user team maybe 1 or 2 times year imo.

    Kinda hard for me to judge the current sliders since I've only ayed Arkansas state.

    for those that are trying them out in play now - threshold is 50.

    What I want our sliders to accomplish is make us have to play a great game great great great game to beat Bama or Florida. And I don't want us to just outscore them 48-45.. I want us to have to play a great defensive game.

    I don't want you to be able to jsut throw all day on the good teams either... that gets old seeing a 48-45 win over Florida wiht your QB throwing for 450 yards on Florida or Bamas D.

    Ya I'm all about difficulty with sliders and would rather lose to the top teams than have my way with them hands down

    I want it to be a struggle to become bowl eligible.. espeically considering you will play 3 - 5 user games a year.

    Yes if you aren't going to bother testing them please say something like this. I don't wanna hear "our sliders are fine" because they aren't. We need to make hard teams hard.

    Test game 1 for me:

    Florida @ WKU (me)

    38-7 half Florida.

    Jeff Demps 100 yards on 9 carries 3 TD's.
    Brantley 10-19 163 yards 1 TD 2 INT's
    3 sacks by florida D and 1 INT

    WKU QB 5-14 58 yards and a pick.
    5 team rushing yards.

    Just lol..... but exactly what I wanted from this game.

    Note: I fumbled about 5 times I think though

    I'll have time to test them tomorrow probably. I already struggle against the computer for some reason but making them harder will still be fun :p

    Game 2 will be Florida @ Tenn (me)

    Gonna add to this as I go:

    First, can see noticeably trying to strip often.

    First drive each team turnover--Florida Int after a bit of a drive... Tenn fumble after about 4 plays (had momentum tho with running game)

    Actually able to generate pretty good rush using Star DE from Tenn using 4 man rush.

    Halftime stats:
    Florida 10 - Tenn 7

    Tenn stats
    Matt Sims 4-9 82 yards 1 INT
    Tauren Poole 15 att 40 yards

    Florida stats
    2 sacks
    Brantley 6-13 57 yards 3 INT
    Demps 8 att 61 yards 1 TD

    Was hoping Florida would be a little better.. gonna try against Bama

    I think half the thing with sliders is users have to use realistic playcalling. Even if Bama blitzes a lot people still try to run on them. you can't jsut run shotgun and try to outscore the computer everytime. Ehhh what can you do though.. just my 2 cents on that.

    Game against Bama I'm not gonna post stats, but it was closer then I would want. I think we just need to make it so users can't throw all over teams like Florida and Bama (by that I mean maybe turn down human QB accuracy more, Pass blocking, and maybe WR catching)

    I'll wait to do anything til some of you try these out!

    But my 2 cents... change to these and tweak them a little more to make it harder for humans to pass. Also I picked the CPU off a couple times.. might look into making that less too.

    Can't wait to here your guyses thoughts!

    Here is my opinion, If you test them as WKU you are not going to get an accurate test, you shouldn't even come close to winning. You should test them as Wake or Vanderbilt because they are the weakest teams in each conference. If Wake can beat VT comfortably, or Vandy beats Bama we know the sliders need changing. If you use Tennessee or Boston College these teams have a punchers chance at beating the top teams.

    Right, but on some sliders I guarantee I could come close to beating Florida, or at least have it better then 38-7... my reason for using them was to make sure I had damn near 0 chance of winning against a team like them using wku..

    the sliders look good, but i would suggest speed threshold at 15. at 50 the game seems fast, like everyone can catch everyone based solely on pursuit angles. At 15 it feels like pursuit angles matter depending on acceleration and speed to a lesser extent.

    I agree, I would like to change that too, but this is just what shaun suggested to me. We will probably tweak it just hair if we decide to adopt them.

    By all means tweak as you wish...I'm reading this with interest.

    I do think the game plays different IN dynasty compared to play now, for what it is worth.

    I agree, I think rankings affect how a team plays among other factors. If some mid-major school is having a great season they seem to play a lot better then if they were struggling all year.

    Try them over a season and see how your members fair...you have to let your sliders be static for some time to test their effectiveness.

    If we are running at 50 speed threshold we should lower this. That makes a big difference against the Floridas of the world and their speed. 35 or 40 would be recommended.
