    Slider Studies

Want to do the same thing here that I am doing with the rosters. I want guys to test out some sliders if possible and post what sliders they used, and results here with the teams including stats for the players. Play sim football, if you lose to Western Kentucky with Ohio St....those are too hard....if you beaat Ohio St easily with Western Kentucky...too easy. I will be doing so as well, maybe not today, but this week. I won't be around Thursday night thru Monday afternoon, so if we decide to do something with the league starting up it won't be til next week and I wanna make sure its right. Get at me on aim as well...Cimmy3453

Sounds great. Just a note tho...most aggressive gameplanning is frowned upon

I'm about to start a game with adjusted sliders, I'm Houston vs. UTEP if things go right it should be about Houston 48-31. 2 Teams with terrible D. Also hopefully UH pass yards 420, rush 120. UTEP pass yards 240, rush yards 220

Didn't work as expected I won 40-37 but I was down 37-25 w/ 2 min. left. I'm going to keep experimenting with them to find what works best for the way I play.

Well after playing 3 games and adjusting sliders here is my last result, which was my best result. I was Hawaii vs. Memphis. Both teams rated C. So I expected a close game in the 30's. My QB Moniz got injured in the 1st Q so it makes sense what happened.

    Memphis 41
    Hawaii 27
    Passing
    Memphis- 17-22, 267 yds., 2 TD
    Hawaii- 29-46, 366 yds., 2 TD, 2 INT

    Rushing
Memphis- 260 yds, 3 TD, FUM (83 yd run w 15 seconds left)
Hawaii- 57 yds, TD, 3 FUM

    1st Downs
    Memphis 16 - Haw 19
    Turnovers
    Memphis 1 - Haw 3

    Memphis leaders
    pass-Bass 17-22, 264 yards, 2 TD
    rush-Smith-21 rush for 226 yards, 2 TD
    Bass(QB) 8 rush for 32 yards
recieving- Farr- 4 rec for 82 yards TD
Rucker- 5 rec for 69 yards TD
    defense- 8 tackles, INT

    Hawaii
    pass-Austin 27-43 for 340 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT
    Moniz 2-3 for 26 yards
rush- Green 11 rush for 52 yards, TD
    Austin(QB) 3 rush for 9 yards
recieving- Salas- 9 rec for 114 yards, TD
Avery- 4 rec for 76 yards
defense- Heun- 9 TKL, 2 TFL, FF

My Slider adjustments that were changed, rest are set at 50 (Not perfect but work well for me)

I appreciate the posts. Keep them coming. Kapono, I know you are a good player so the Memphis/Hawaii game is a bit stretched for me. Try the Houston v UTEP settings again if you could, but try being a terrible team like UTEP and playing Texas or Alabama. Something like that, be a scrub v a powerhouse and vice versa if you could? I would, but I'm still down. I really appreciate your help man. It goes a long way

Game 2 and my results were a little unexpected.
    Penn St(CPU) 28
    FAU(User) 17
    Halftime score:14-3 PSU

    Team Stats
    First Downs
    FAU-10
    PSU-18

    Turnovers
    FAU-4
    PSU-6
(Don't know why fumbles are so high, it's on balanced game plan)

    Sacks
    FAU-4
    PSU-1

    Penalties
    FAU- 2 for 20
    PSU- 3 for 30

    Passing
    FAU- 16-34, 213 yards, TD, 2 INT
    PSU- 20-29, 313 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT

    Rushing
FAU-28 rush for 30 yards, TD, 2 FUM
    PSU-24 rush for 185 yards, 2 TD, 4 FUM

    Individual Leaders
    FAU
Passing- VanCamp- 16-34 for 213 yards, TD, 2 INT
Rushing- Morris- 23 rush for 34 yards, TD
Floyd and Muniz- 3 yd. each
Receiving- Housler(TE) 4 rec. for 45 yards, TD
Davis- 4 rec. for 68 yards
    Defense- Alexander(FS)- 11 TK, TFL
    Czuprrynski(DE)- 4 TK, INT
    Hill(CB)-2 TK, 2 INT

    Penn State
Passing- Newsome- 20-29 for 313 yds., 2 TD, 3 INT
Rushing-Royster-11 rush for 182 yards, TD
Green- 4 rush for 22 yards, TD
Receiving- Szcerba(TE)-3 rec. for 101 yards, TD
Zug- 4 rec. for 69 yards
Powell- 4 rec, for 62 yards, TD
    Defense-Sukay(FS)-8 TK
    Lynn(CB)- 3 TK, 2 INT

If the turnovers were about half this game would be where it needs to be. 2 bad there's no slider for fumbles.

So I played my 3rd game on my sliders. When I play, no matter what sliders I suck in the first half. And with these sliders when I'm the underdog it was closer than expected and as the favorite it was closer than expected.

    Alabama(User)41
    FIU(CPU) 17

    Team Stats
    Passing
Bama- 13-20 for 217 yards, TD, INT
    FIU- 18-29 for 268 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT

    Rushing-
Bama- 38 rush for 184 yards(2 sacks), 3 TD, FUM
    FIU- 25 rush for 0 yards(6 sacks), 2 FUM

    Turnovers-
    Bama-2
    FIU-4

    1st Downs
    Bama-15
    FIU-17

    Penalties
    Bama - 1 for 10
    FIU- 3 for 30

    Individula Stats
    Bama
    Passing
McElroy- 13-20 for 217 yards, TD, INT
    Rushing
Ingram- 22 rush for 139 yards, TD
Richardson- 9 rush for 42 yards, TD
    Marrow(FB)- 1 rush for 1 yard TD
    Receiving-
    Williams(TE)- 1 rec. for 58 yard TD
Maze- 2 rec. for 48 yards
Jones- 4 rec. for 38 yards
    Defense-
    Dareus(DE)- 11 TK, 5 TFL, 2 SK, FF
    Barron(SS)- 4 TK, 2 INT, TD

    FIU
    Passing-
Younger- 18-29 for for 268 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT
    Rushing-
Perry- 13 rush for 18 yards
    LaPorte(FB)- 2 rush for 18 yards
    Receiving-
Frierson- 4 rec. for 74 yards
    Faucher(TE)- 4 rec. for 63 yards
Ellington- 4 rec. for 49 yards
    LaPorte(FB)- 1 rec. for 3 yard TD
    Defense-
    Cypien(FS)- 8 TK, TFL, FF
    Smith(MLB)- 7 TK, FR

Since I'd say my skill level is a little above average I would make CPU pass accuracy down 5 points, User INT down 5 points, User RB Ability up 5 points. I'll test those sometime today or tomorrow.

I'm going to stop posting scores and stats every time but I'm pretty close to getting a set that I am happy with. I'm just hoping pass heavy or run heavy teams don't gain an advantage so I'm going to have to test it with different styles against different styles. Also how long do you want the quarters? I'm running 7 min. right now.
