I'm wondering how sliders will translate from demo to actual release. I guess it will give us a starting point but I wouldn't want to go without retesting.

The first thing I did was change the Min Speed Threshold to 0, I felt like there wasn't enough of a difference between DAT and lineman.

I've been going back and forth with Game Speed, Slow game speed feels way to slow so I've given up on that one. I like Fast, but, I feel like its difficult to manuver your RB when running between the tackles. Normal might end up being the way to go at this point.

Let me know what you guys think

I also noticed that fast seems rushed though with the improved blocking I've been able to follow blocks a lot better than last year!

I think Normal is the best one to play on. Slow gives people too much time to react and anything faster than normal makes it look as if players are skating. Are you set at 0 for threshold? When we spoke last you had it at 15, but i've always played with it at 0. I think CPU accuracy, pass block and pass defense needs to be toned down while user pass block and probably pass defense needs to be buffed. This is based off the demo of course, and we won't have complete knowledge of how things should look till the games drop. Need to test sliders on a variety of matchups and with the 7 minute quarters which we will again be using

I haven't had much free time this week due to work and class, but I plan on playing the demo a lot when I get the chance. I agree that we should obviously wait until the game drops before we decide on a slider set, but I can't imagine EA will change much from the demo to the final product.

I have played a couple games though, I have to say that DAT is a monster. Can't wait to build my playbook and see what he can do in full games.

My first demo game was aTm vs Oregon. I was down 14-0 before I knew it. Came back and won in double OT! I love that the CPU can actually run the option.

I put it back to 0, I was being caught too often by defensive lineman when i was out in space.

0 is wayyyyy too low 25 is perfect. DAT blows by lineman (but not all and rightfully so) sometimes he does get tripped up by lineman and they make a play on him. Just coz he has 2 feet down doesn't mean he should blow by every player in the game. Keep in mid with progression there will e 2-3 guys per season in each pool that have speed like his or eventually better. That kids speeds a once in a decade type of speed so keep that in mind. 0 is way too low and doesn't take any skill to break a big one. 25 I had a 56 yard TD run with Michigans power back who broke 2 tackles and juked a 3rd. It felt awesome and like I actually deserved it.

Ill post my sliders tonight but all I made adjustments too were the 35 drops Speyer suggested

Basically all the changes I've also made, but threshold 25 and all cpu kicking/punting at 40. I'll report back about how field goals and kick offs go. at 50 I had about 80% touchbacks

Hey guys, sorry I've been slow in getting going on the boards. It's been a crazy couple of months for me, just got engaged and closing on a house next week, not to mention that work has been crazy lately. That being said, I'm looking forward to the challenge of leading my Hogs in '14. As for the demo, I haven't gotten a ton of games in yet, but does anyone else think that it's much more difficult to tackle this year? Maybe I'm just rusty from not playing NCAA for so long, but that seemed to jump out at me so far.

Congrats on getting engaged! I think defense is, in general, more difficult in this game because the AI runs with a purpose

I'm doing a dynasty right now where I play the occasional matchup to test sliders within dynasty but sim mostly so that I can recruit. I've played 3 games so far in season 3 with my QB being Sophomore RS J.T. Barrett -- 86 throw power, 90 throw accuracy.

vs. #9 Georgia Tech: 11-19, 133 yards, TD

@ Purdue (good team vs. bad team testing): 12-17, 209 yards, 2 TD

vs. #8 Notre Dame (99 ovr Defense): 11-19, 101 yards, TD

From what I've read qba at 5 gives the most realistic feel to the QB I'm all for qbs having errant throws

I wanted to have the CPU there too but I felt that it made even the best CPU QBs unable to see open receivers

Sliders feel pretty good. Nothing seems automatic on the user side. I did have both the QB for Rice (started out 10/10) and North Texas (Started 8/8) go Robo-QB on me for a while. I don't think my D was that bad but they kept drilling anyone who was remotely open.

    Anyone else running into that?

Yeah that seems to happen from time to time on 10. Like I said, would rather have QBA on 5 for CPU but on 5 even the best QBs hold onto the ball for way too long and suck.

Would it help to bump Human Pass Coverage or would that be too much? Not sure if dropping AI Pass Catch would work either.
