Just played Kentucky (CPU) vs Temple (Me) and lost 24-14. Kentucky is rated as B- Overall, B Offense, B- Defense. Temple is C Overall, C+ Offense, C Defense.

I didn't mess with the USER side that much, have read where that can really fug up user v user games.

    - For as well as UK ran the ball, they only had 1 pancake
    - Even though I didn't force a punt, I didn't feel completely helpless on D
    - Slider for CPU QB Accuracy seems about right
    - CPU pass rush still too strong, they break blocks instantaneously on several plays, will lower
    - USER Rush D should be raised back to 50
    - CPU had only 48 plays to my 75, but had much more successful plays
    - No success with 3-4 D so far, it was my best D in '10, may have to change from regular MLB position that I usually control
    - CPU missed a 50 yd FG that had plenty of distance, kicker is 68 OVR with 71 KPW, CPU FG Power still needs lowering

Are we playing 6 or 7 min.. I would say 7 this year cause it take us longer to thumb through the menu and pick plays

Just played Kentucky again with Auburn. As much as I hate superhuman RB's, the CPU is much more fun when they have a run game. I put User Run D back to 50 and coupled with having a much better D, shut down UK's run. Won 31-13 on 6 min qtrs.

I averaged 5.9 yds/car with McCalebb compared to 2.4 yds/car with Temple's back. I would like to see what guys are averaging per carry from under center plays and what setting they have CPU Run D at.

OnaRadio: are you playing with these inside of a dynasty as well? In year's past games played "differently" in dynasty mode that play now or practice. But I'm about to plug these in and play a couple games.

Bad Team vs. Good Team: Vandy vs. Miami
Good Team vs. Bad Team: USC vs. Washington State
Good vs. Good: Texas vs. Oklahoma
Bad vs. Bad: Northwestern vs. Kentucky

You also have to take team's offenses into it. Lowering say CPU HB rushing for a pro team may hurt a spread team. And have you played these on any other game speeds? I enjoy slow... gives a realistic feel to the game.

I had to make some tweaks off the bat. Miami was a little to super IMO. Right now its 17-7 at the half. They intercepted a pitch and took it for 6 but so far their offense is playing to par. I think with the clock at 6 minutes is cutting out some possessions for them to score more but the at the rate its going I'm still going to get blown out. Their speed is killing me (player threshold at 0) right now but not in a superhuman way. We'll see how this second half plays out.

Wow, what a game!! Miami really pushed my shit back in the second half. They really wore down my defensive line as Cooper was punishing me the whole second half. Once they started subbing in my line it was pretty much a wrap for me. He had some really long runs throughout this one, couldn't stop 'em. My passing yards are inflated simply because the CPU played terrible on 3 plays. I was backed up on my own 7 (3rd and forever) and decided to throw a screen to my HB. Well the CPU decided to blitz every defender on my left side (engage 8?) and I had 3 blockers for 2 defenders. End result was a 93 yard touchdown pass. Another situation, I was on my 15 after a false start and the CPU decided to line a LB (70speed) on my WR (91speed). End result, took a little 5 yard out 85 yards for the score. I caught the CPU out of position another time (no man on my TE because they were blitzing) right up the seam for a 39 yard touchdown pass. So 217 yards came on 3 throws. Minus those plays and I threw for a 140.

If you guys see anything crazy about the stats let me know. I'm about to play my next game on the list.

I forgot to mention the LB also was in a bump and run:confused:

This is a picture of the initial release to the sideline. As you can see the LB is already playing catch up:

Now the LB actually gained some ground as the WR turned up field:

But as the play developed you can see the LB was severly overmatched:

Here is the play in real time. The Cane that is flying to him is a 96speed 86acceleration CB but even his speed can't run the ballcarrier from behind. BTW the WR's acceleration is 91 :

A big change from the last game. I really should of had more points but a couple of penalties killed a drive and a fumble as well. But I can't lie WSU stood tall. I had a speed advantage but they did well at keeping me out of the open field and when I did get a chance they made some great tackles.

As you can see I have my slot WR (#17) lined up on a linebacker. My WR stats: 88speed 96acceleration. The linebacker stats: 80speed 82acc. The safety over the top: 89speed 90acceleration. Let's see how this plays out:

Now the LB actually backs up before the snap. Now the WR has a free release on a LB. As you can see the WR gets on him so fast and already is winning the race:

Now with the player threshold at lets say 100 the LB and safety would have enough "speed" to keep up but not with it at 0. He actually is so quick he actually splits the LB and safety. A bad throw keeps him from scoring but look at this space:

Here's the play at full speed, well at least the part they let me save, lol:

Other than that its a good set. I raised the penalties all the way up because they rarely get called anyway.

Pass Blocking- Bumped it up because I play as a lineman on defense so its really not that hard to get to the QB with it lowered. Also blitzes were a little too effective.

RB Ability- It's fine at default. With it at 55 the CPU HB starts making "Superman" runs. All the leaning and running with the ball covered up has to be addressed in a patch. The "big time" RBs will still run on you like crazy with this at default.

USER INT- Already had a ton of dropped INTs on default lowering it to 20 only doubled the problem. I agree it should be lowered and 30 seemed like the area where some INTs happened again.

Rush D (CPU)- I run the ball alot. With the improvements in blocking running has became a whole lot easier. Unless y'all want to see me gain 300 yards a game on the ground, lol.

FG Power- Self explainatory. The CPU kickers knock it down from all over. With it at 35 only good kickers will attempt that 55 yard FG.

Kickoff Power- Moved it down because with it at 65 you rarely get a chance to bring it out. With it at 60 it lands at the goalline more often instead of 5 yards deep everytime.

Slow Gameplay Speed- Y'all need to check the slow speed out especially if y'all agree with the player threshold at 0. It helps a whole lot and it seems as you can see the breaks of players more smoothly. Normal is good but with it at slow you can see little things like a safety leaning the wrong way (locomotion) and can time that timing route better. Or you have a chance to see the hole before that LB hits it and it also gives you a split second to break down the defender. I wish the replays recorded longer because I can show you guys the runs I've been making. Their not all long runs but if you see the moves I have the opprotunity to make you'll agree with the slower gameplay. And it helps with those who struggle with the defense at the moment. If you make the right read you'll be good, make the wrong one and you probably should walk to the sidelines with your head down:)

On my lunch break right now so cant get too in depth right at the moment. Ill just touch on speeds. Im fine with the slower game speed, just prefer regular speed.

Im not crazy about the threshold being at 0, but i havent had it that low yet so take that for what its worth. I tried 20 but felt like the game was approaching that "wide open gameplay" fad of a couple years ago. Acceleration and agility mean EVERYTHING at that level.

CPU rush D is two sided. Its too easy to run from under center but really hard from shotgun unless you go outside all day

Jerz, I'll test your sliders tonight sometime and post stats. I'm really not a nazi about them, I just enjoy tinkering with them:)

I agree with the penalties, I just moved them at random cause I had noticed none are called at default level.

    You using the 3-4 defense?

I'm running whatever that team uses, so far I don't think I've used a 3-4. But go ahead chop 'em up I love tweakin' sliders, lol. As long as it doesn't handicap the CPU O and D, I hate when the CPU is too easy.

Oh and I'm going to up the threshold up. Really wanna find that sliders happy median.
