BfR is going to the Saturday Heroes sliders. I'm not sure what they are, but my main request is that we adjust the CPU run block. It is off the chart. On 70 % of the CPU run plays I have 5 or 6 guys get completely pancaked.

Our sliders are currently similar to BFR older version. I checked out the Sat. Heros sliders and they seem to be a bit more difficult than ours. But I will definitly look at run block for cpu.

I chose Sat. Heros sliders since it addresses the major points of cpu run block, passing accuracy, interceptions, etc.

I believe this will be the best fit for our dynasty.

It will still be in Heisman difficulty. I know Saturday Heroes is on AA difficulty but we will try the sliders with Heisman difficulty. I believe Bfr is going to be doing the same thing.

Man... I hate those sliders. Honestly we should of tweaked our set. I removed myself out of SH because of those things. This doesn't look promising for me. I'll play with them to try for the final time but if not I'm removing myself. Those things are just difficult, not realistic IMO. Robo QB is a bitch on those. Oh well.

These sliders aren't set in stone. I've never used these sliders but I'll take your word on it. I'm just trying to get a feel of what everyone prefers as sliders. In order to get this right I need specifics.

Is it the cpu QB passing that you don't like?

What tweaking do you prefer on the original?

New slider suggestion: With Pass Coverage at 15 and Qb acc at 35 it's damn near impossible to stop the QB from passing unless you use gameplan. I had shootouts in almost all my games I played in Saturday Heroes/Pure Hate. I asked folks what did they do to keep the scoring down and they said to take your time calling plays. So basically chew clock. Like I said I just have a problem with them. You should let EVERYONE get a game in and take a vote. If people have problems with the CPU running with our current set, this set will drive them crazy.

Old Sliders: I actually had one game where I was like "WTF?" against the CPU. I have no issues with them. But am willing to lab to get 'em right.

My suggestion: Doesn't matter, your the boss, lol. I can lab with ours to try and get 'em right or I can play with the SH set and try to get used to 'em. My personal set is untested in user vs. user games but I did post 'em in the forum. Also luvtotha9s has played with them and Frisk was also labbing for me. It's up to you though.

    How did the labbing go?

Give me a sec and I'll go grab 'em...

Here's the set, and I'm bout to grab some quotes:

    Human/CPU

    QB Acc: 10/5
    Pass Blocking: 0/0
    WR Catching: 50/50
    RB Ability: 40/40
    Run Block: 0/10

    Pass Coverage: 50/65
    Pass Rush: 0/0
    INT: 10/10
    Rush D: 0/10/15
Tackling: 45/60 (You can bring that down if you want. There's still broken tackles)

    FG Power: 40/40
    FG Acc: 30/35
Punt Power: 60/60 (It's because I hang 'em up there so I can get realistic hangtime but still want it to cover some distance.)
Punt Accuracy: 75/75 (Coffin kicks and kicks inside 20 happen more often)
    Kickoff Power: 65/65 (More touchbacks)

    House Rules:

    6 minutes
    Heisman
    No Run/Pass Commit
    No Gameplan Features

I made some tweaks that don't reflect on the ones I posted. Bout to go play once again with these and make some fresh tweaks i.e CPU pass coverage is bumped to 65 and quarter length is 6 minutes

I like this. My only thought is to allow game play features except for agressive d line.

Blocking: Depends on how good the front seven of the defense is. If their average/slow and you have a good line you'll dominate the trenches. If they have a good/fast defense and your line is suspect your going to have a long game. Suction blocking is tuned down alot IMO

Try 'em out. We don't have to use 'em but it's best if we have options.

I'm labbing now and Texas is killing me (Texas A&M) 30-6 midway through the 4th. I will edit my post above once I get through getting my ass handed to me,lol

We'll probably be rolling with NJs sliders once he finishes tweaking. How did the game sliders you just played with work against Boise St? I see you held on Kellan Moore and a beast of an offense off.

Yea but there was quite a few runs where too many defenders got pancaked. Moore has 97 THA and they have very good WRs so it is hard to judge that. I will say that got open almost every play regardless of the coverage called. It was like that all of last season too. Don't know if the team sucks or if it is a slider issue.

What sliders did you use Max?

I've tweaked mine a bit but would like others to play with them. Still adjusting them for pancake blocks though. Their a little low at maybe 1-3 per good lineman a game. I also incorporate penalties in my sliders but we don't have to use that portion.

    Human/CPU

    QB Acc: 10/10
    Pass Blocking: 5/5
    WR Catching: 50/50
    RB Ability: 40/40
    Run Block: 5/10

    Pass Coverage: 50/65
    Pass Rush: 0/0
    INT: 10/10
    Rush D: 0/15
    Tackling: 45/60

    FG Power: 40/40
    FG Acc: 30/35
    Punt Power: 60/60
    Punt Accuracy: 75/75
    Kickoff Power: 60/60

    Penalties:

    Everything maxed out but:

    Holding-60
    Facemask-45
    Clipping-60

*I like penalties, it makes the game more realistic.
