Just a quick note that in '11 or '12 I wouldn't have played in a league with Heisman sliders because I hate all of the cheese that goes on with them. While I've played almost exclusively on AA so far (which I think plays well), I've now played a few games on Heisman and I have to admit that I don't hate it. From my brief time with the game, none of which has been spent tinkering with sliders, both AA and Heisman play good games on default. There's definitely some tweaking needed, but as of now I couldn't rule out either difficulty level.

I have seen some of the gamechangers say the same thing, so you are probably on to something.

Of course I may have spoken too soon as UCF bitch slapped my VT Hokies and then SJSU beat my Longhorns......

I am going to try PA's Heisman sliders tonight after screwing around with some of my own. Heisman is not like getting repeated kicks in the nuts like in '11 or '12 like jello1717 stated.

I told myself that I was gonna win on default Heisman before I start playing with a CPB and after losing twice I went with a sure thing by using Oregon at home against LaTech.

After LaTech went up 21-0 I rage quit and was finally able to get a win with Oregon against Kentucky.....

I'm gonna try PAGamer's too whenever I get a chance.

Let me know guys. I want a solid set of sliders that I don't have to constantly fuck with.

Also, I am extremely jealous of those getting the game tonight while mine is delivered tomorrow.

Mine will be delivered tomorrow, but I've made plans so a good chunk of my morning/afternoon will be taken up so I won't get too anxious waiting.

I have no idea when my season ticket game will cut off on me, but I think it'll be tonight.

So these Uni's/Players that you get in the demo, do they get automatically get added when you have the actual game?

I'm assuming so as I have the demo unis now with my pre-release copy.

I just played my first game with PA's Heisman sliders. It was my SMU team hosting an even Purdue team. It was a tough game with Purdue leading 13-7 at the half. 20-14 after 3. In the 4th I get a TD and then a FG with 2:08 remaining to take the lead 24-20.

Then what I've always expected of Heisman mode kicked in.

Purdue scores in 3 plays on a 55 yard bomb to go up 27-24 with 1:19 left.
Up until this point, my team hasn't turned the ball over once.
On my next drive, I fumble and Purdue scoop and scores for a 34-24 lead.
On my next drive, a different guy fumbles to end the game.

I saw these types of scenarios on Heisman all the time in '12 which is why I hate it so much. In this game, when the chips are down a Purdue team, that has struggled to move the ball most of the game gets a long scoring pass. Then when I have a shot to take the lead, my sure handed guy miraculously fumbles to give Purdue an insurmountable lead. Then, just to play it safe, another sure handed guy fumbles the ball to ensure I can't come back.

I probably spoke too soon in my OP about my feeling towards Heisman in '13.

Just finished playing FSU/ND at the Doak. Won 45 - 38 with a two minute drive. Game played nice and smooth with a few dumb AI bugs (pitch player continuing to run in the backfield while the RB gets the ptich and scampers down the field). Here are the stats from PAgamer07 Heisman sliders:

    ND FSU
    1st downs 16 20
    Total Offense 402 357
    Rushes 29-142 29-106

Most of the codes in the past have come the same day or following delivery day.

I was assuming he was referring to those MSU Pro-Combats that I begrudgingly admit are pretty sweet.

I have seen several people say that slow speed is the way to go this year because it gives you time to see the outside receivers. Any chance that we use slow speed?

I've been using PA's sliders which are slow speed. To be honest if you were to randomly set it to slow or normal I don't think I could tell the difference. I prefer slow speed though and that's what I used in my offline in '12.

Jello - do you know if changing the speed threshold affects user games? Or is it like the sliders, where they go to default for user games and only impact CPU games?

I'm not sure, but that should be easy to test by trying it at 100 and at 0. If you're talking about the game speed setting, that should be easy to tell too since I'm sure there must be a noticeable difference between very slow and the highest setting.
