To make it to a bowl game and finish in top 20 this season. 9-4 record with bowl win

    Team Strengths

Our main strength is our defense

    Team Weaknesses

Our main weakness is our offense. Too many wildcards there

Key losses (players) from last season (as best as you can remember)?

Kasa and DLine, The 2 Offensive Tackles as well, Hildreth and Evans also on offense

    Key returning players?

Newby on defense, Grossnickle the punter

Do you have any freshmen that will impact your team this season?

I don't think any new recruits will impact the team this season.

Recruiting focus for this year?Only have 10 players to get so this year is a fill need year

What are your expectations for the 2013 season (projected record as well)?

After closing out a great season with a 12-2 record, finishing with a BigXII conference championship, ranked #2 at seasons end and a fiesta bowl victory, the bar has been set high. We cannot lower the bar here at Lincoln, the goal is to build on last seasons successes.

    Team Strengths
    Offense
    - a strong stable of running backs
    - a 3 headed senior QB tandem, all of which are very athletic. Should be exciting to watch.

    Defense
    - Extremely deep and talented in the entire secondary

    Team Weaknesses
    Offense
    - Extremely young along the O-line
    - Talented but young at TE & WR

    Defense
    - a bit thin at the LB spots
    - Paper thin at the DE positions. We had to convert a LB and a DT to DE's just so we could field a 2 deep

Key losses (players) from last season (as best as you can remember)?

    Offense
QB Spano - He wasn't spectacular, but never made the big mistake.
RB Okafor & Ward - Great 1, 2 punch. Both will be sorely missed.

    Defense
How could I go without mentioning my LB's. Mostly responsible for the run we had last season:
OLB Fisher - spectacular player, set records on number of sacks
MLB Compton - He was a rock for us, owned the middle of the field.

    Key returning players ?
WR Green will be a mainstay on offense.

Do you have any freshmen that will impact your team this season?
We have put ourselves into a position where we dont have to rely on our freshmen to get us where we want to go. If any freshmen have a big impact it means we have had some sort of unfortunate injury at position we are thin at.

    Recruiting focus for this year?
    - We need 2 QB's. We can't afford to miss on this.
    - Continue building depth along the O-line, at DE & LB.

    Biggest game on your schedule?
We don't look past our opponents, our biggest game is our next game.

    Team Motto for 2013:
    Get better.

Conference championship and National championship are always our goals and expectations every season. This one is no different. After looking at some game film , we learned a some things last season from a couple of our games, particularly Nebraska. So we are definitely anticipating a different outcome to our season this year.

14-0 (possibl slip up I can foresee at some point during the season)

Defense, we are talented all over the field, specifically at the LB, D-line and entire secondary positions. We have four plays on defense rated 99 and several over a 95 rating. We will be fast and strike hard. Our Heisman hopeful QB Garrett Gilbert as well.

We lost alot from our receiving corp this year. Of course Heisman winner Dan Buckner, but also 3 other very talented receivers. The guys we have in now are no steep decline, but its just hard to replace 4 superstars bascially. We are as solid as can be all over though in every other position, but we will need to see who will step up from this group

    WR - Dan Buckner (98)
    HB - Tre Newton (98)
    RG - Mark Buchannon (99)
    WR - Desean Hales (97)
    SS - Nolan Brewster (94)
    WR - DJ Monroe (94)
    WR - DJ Grant (94)
    HB - Jeremy Hills (93)
    RT - Santonio Daniel (92)
    ROLB - Ryan Roberson (96)

    HB - Chris Whaley (99)
    LG - Mason Walters (99)
    LE - Alex Okafor (99)
    MLB - Maurice Bailey (99)
    LOLB - Tariq Allen (99)
    CB - Marcus Davis (98)
    ROLB - Patrick Nkwopara (97)
    FS - Kenny Vaccaro (97)
    RE - Kyle Kriegel (96)
    CB - Charles Bryant (96)
    MLB - JJ Pickens (95)
    DT - Trevor Burnette (94)
    CB - Louis Mason (90)
    QB - Garrett Gilbert (89)

RS Freshman - SS/FS Tim Moyer (88/90) Will start at either or position. We see him as being an "Ed Reed type"

We are always looking for players to plug into our system. You never can have enough talent. We are set at the QB, HB and CB positions for many years. In fact we have a huge 6-5 "Tebow" like Freshman QB who will wreck havoc when its his time. We brought in some more WR recruits this year.
This year's focus will be set on adding more guys to the secondary and D-line positions. We will also look at the o-line and LB positions.

What are your expectations for the 2013 season (projected record as well)?

14-0, finally beat Bama on the way to winning the National Title.

    Team Strengths

The running back position. Michael Ford has grown into the back we've wanted since coming here. Watch out for him, hopefully he makes some noise. Big heisman hopeful in him. Allowing him to run free will be our highly rated fullback Dominique Allen. The receiving core isn't too shabby. Not as good overall but they should be able to get the job done. Doug Castillo moves back to the slot where he will absolutely terrify defenders.

The defense is good. Not great but good. The reason I say this is because it is excellent in some spots but good in others. There are no slouches. Junior RS MLB Brian Williams will be key along with his brother from another mother Hayden Williams who will be along side him.

    Team Weaknesses

The Quarterback position. While we have some decent athletes we have no true leader in the pocket which might hurt us in the big games. We have a young true freshman QB who has 86 THA but that won't mean squat when he loses his composure.

Key losses (players) from last season (as best as you can remember)?

    Russell Sheppard
    DE Clement
Craig Loston(played like 1 quarter before being injured)

    Key returning players ?

    Michael Ford(RB)
    Doug Castillo(WR)
    Chris Faulk(OL)
    Josh Wilford(OL)
    Josh Peterson(OL)
    Sam Montgomery(DE)
    Trey Tyson(DT) Sophomore- 99 Overall

Do you have any freshmen that will impact your team this season?

    Matt Dixon LG
    Joe Hall QB(Not sure yet)

    Recruiting focus for this year?

    Quarterback, receiver and tight end

    Biggest game on your schedule?

What are your expectations for the 2013 season (projected record as well)?

Do better than last years dismal season. Beat Texas. We had them by the balls and then we pissed down our leg.. like we did a lot last season.. we are finally getting our recruits up and things should turn around.. look for this to be our break out year..

    Team Strengths

Speed... we are fast, and in this league you gotta be fast.

    Team Weaknesses

Youth.. we have 8 seniors.. 1 TE... we are very thin in a few spots but i think we can preform well..

Key losses (players) from last season (as best as you can remember)?

QB Dorman.. solid player but made a few poor choices in throwing..
2 CBs.. we are loaded in this dept so it shouldnt hurt us but we had some quality guys last year locking down the edge..

    Key returning players ?

FS Garrison.. dude is a ball hawk.. like the white version of brian dawkins...

Do you have any freshmen that will impact your team this season?

Yes several.. we are going to with R.J. Washington as our Starter for week1.. if he performs well he should keep his job..

    Recruiting focus for this year?

TEs, and filling our depth out more evenly.. we currently have 6 MLBs..

    Biggest game on your schedule?

The only one the State of Texas cares about.. the Lone Star Showdown with those homos in Austin.

What are your expectations for the 2013 season (projected record as well)?
~Compete. This is it. Georgia is my final stand as a coach to compete. Haven't been anywhere long enough to fortify a stable program and that is nobody else's fault but my own. Taking out one of the SEC's elite (Florida, LSU, Alabama), is going to be the first step. As a coach I have yet to secure a win against these opponents and its time. Great ball club here in Athens, I would be disappointed to finish anything worse than 11-2.

    Team Strengths
~A new face, a new program here between the hedges. We have no set strength that stands out from the rest. There is no norm in the locker room and on the sidelines. One team. One strength.

    Team Weaknesses
    ~See strengths.

Key losses (players) from last season (as best as you can remember)?
~I wasn't apart of this program last year, so any loss we did have, doesn't impact me. I am happy with what I have seen from our current team. We're a solid team.

    Key returning players ?
~Every player, returning or new to this Georgia Bulldog team, is key to our success. Whether it be on the field during game day, or on the practice field...every jersey, every number, is key to this team's success.

Do you have any freshmen that will impact your team this season?
~Without jumping on our depth chart, I can tell you we do have some freshman who will/could see playing time in the big game.

    Recruiting focus for this year?
~Get needs and guys who want to win. We have some holes we will need to fill along the defensive line after this season and that will be our priority. When we get a stable class on the d-line, it is all about finding guys who want to do nothing but win. Guys that will go 4 quarters and then some without backing down. Weapons on offense, especially the running game and at the TE position. Looks like we have a few leaders under center that will keep us tight for a few years.

    Biggest game on your schedule?
~What game isn't big? They all mean something to us. Florida is going to be a big football game. We will not fall anything short of perfet for the Cocktail Party.

What are your expectations for the 2013 season (projected record as well)?

Our expectations are to win the SEC West at a minimum. Of course, I'm sure the folks in Tuscaloosa will say "National Championship".

    Team Strengths

The offense. Last year's team was lead by a fantastic defense which included the best secondary in the country. This team is lead by two seniors - Senior QB AJ McCarron (getting his first chance as a senior) and Senior RB Trent Richardson. Also, the wide receiving core returns two early season Heisman trophy candidates in sure-handed receiver Kendall Kelly and 6'5 Soph Eugene Alexander.

    Team Weaknesses

The weakness of this team is our youth in the secondary. We will start three juniors that have not yet had any real game experience. It will definitely be interesting to see how the secondary develops.

Key losses (players) from last season (as best as you can remember)?

4 year QB Star Jackson's experience will definitely be missed. Also, FS Barron and SS Green will missed in the secondary.

    Key returning players ?

    1. RB Trent Richardson (All-American)
    2. WR Eugene Alexander (All-American)
    3. WR Kendall Kelly (All-American)
    4. DE Paul Booker
    5. LT DJ Fluker (All-American)
    6. C Terry Patton (All-American)
    7. DT Brandon Moore (All-American)
    8. LOLB Jonathan Atchison (Best LB in the country!)
    9. CB Dre Kirkpatrick (All-American)

Do you have any freshmen that will impact your team this season?

TE John Poland will see some action as the backup TE. He has the talent to become the started by the end of the season.

    Recruiting focus for this year?

We will need to focus on our Offensive Line.

    Biggest game on your schedule?

LSU is still the toughest team on our schedule. Since we have beat them 4 straight times, we know that a LSU victory over us would make their season.

It is close. I still would take Atchison.

However, you clearly have the best young defensive player in the game in Trey Tyson. I've never seen a Sophomore DT that good.

expectations: 9-3 record with a decent bowl game, just to try and bring back the yellow jackets to respectability.

Strengths: Quarterback LuAllen has a solid arm, great speed and should run the
fleXbox One offense to a T. The defense should be solid and keep us in games.

Weakness: Coaching! Coaching! First time using this type of offense so there is going to be a learning curve.

    No impact freshman

Recruiting: Need a QB to run the option as they failed to recruit any QB's with speed, no wonder the coach got fired! bad recruiting and bringing G-Tech down to a 3 star team.

    FSU 2013 Season Outlook

What are your expectations for the 2013 season (projected record as well)?

Excitement is always at a high when a new coaching staff comes in, and we expect that excitement to turn into results. Last year this team, loaded with veteran talent, went 8-4. Anything less than that will be a failure. Our #1 goal (besides ruining Florida's season in the Swamp) will be to win whatever division of the ACC in which we play.

    Team Strengths

Defensive Line: Brandon Jenkins (96 ovl) is a force at RE as is Jacobbi McDaniel at the DT (96 ovl) position.

Playmakers on Offense: Rodney Smith (95 ovl) at WR and Willie Haulstead (91 ovl) are two play makers on offense that will catch a ton of balls this season. Our main offensive weapon is All-American HB Lonnie Pryor (93 ovl).

    Team Weaknesses:

Quarterback: This position is untested and is a huge question mark ? Will Secord, a RS Senior will get the start, but if he struggles expect to see Junior David Jacobs.

Key losses (players) from last season (as best as you can remember)?

    15 starters...ouch

    Key returning players ?

The aforementioned playmakers on offense and defense.

Do you have any freshmen that will impact your team this season?

Matt Sanders, the #1 rated SS from last year's class, will get the start at that position.

    Recruiting focus for this year?

Convincing the elite level playmakers that FSU is on the rise. We need to get better in the secondary in particular.

    Biggest game on your schedule?

Two of them: 10/5 when Miami rolls into town where we will probably miss a FG and lose and at Florida on 11/16. Our most important game is probably at Clemson on 11/2.

What are your expectations for the 2013 season (projected record as well)?

This team will try to make an identity for itself. We will do some things different on offense this year. We are young and inexperienced at the skill positions, so however long it takes them to grow up will dictate the success of our team.

I say we finish 11-3 SEC runner up.

Team Strengths Our LB's and QB's

    Team Weaknesses Inexperience

Key losses (players) from last season (as best as you can remember)? John Ross was the biggest blow, Taylor Mays like safety true enforcer. He came out a year early and it was a smart decision.

We lost our top 5 guys production wise in the passing game in TE D.Parks and WR's O. Hines, A. Debose, T. Lawrence, F Hammond.

We also lose all-american DE William Green

Key returning players ? Jon Bostic, Jelani Jenkins, and David Jennings at LB Gary Brown at DT Anthony Crowell returns as well as Jordan Reed. Jordan may see some time this year he has preapred well. Can't forget out Tackles Xavier Nixon and Rich Tolbert.

Do you have any freshmen that will impact your team this season? Yes all 4 backs we have are first or second year freshmen. Ryan Harwell is our #2 Wide out this year.

Recruiting focus for this year? 5 star recruits we are young and have a full 70 man roster we are just looking for elite players. We only graduate 9 this year.

Biggest game on your schedule? We prepare like hell for every game. We won't prepare less for Utah than we will for LSU or Georgia. We treat them all the same and we are trying to get back to Atlanta.

What are your expectations for the 2013 season (projected record as well)?

While we are rebuilding, we completely expect to compete for an ACC Title. While our goal is to go undefeated, our schedule is tough so we may drop a game or two.
    Prediction: 10-2

    Team Strengths

Our 2 main strengths are the running game led by Lamar Miller and our defense. Miller is a game-breaker and if he can stay healthy, he'll be a surefire Top 5 pick in the draft. The defense is big, fast, and physical. Our goal is for you to know you've been in a battle after you play against our defense. You may catch the ball or gain a few yards on a run, but you're definitely going to pay the price for it.

    Team Weaknesses

We are lacking depth and experience. We have a lot of young talent and some key seniors, but with only 57 players on the roster currently, we are working on bringing in quality depth.

Key losses (players) from last season (as best as you can remember)?

Having only come in for the bowl game, I can't really speak about key losses.

    Key returning players ?

    7 Lamar Miller
By season's end, Miller should be competing for all kinds of awards, including the Heisman if things go right. Miller missed almost all of 2012 due to injury, but he is back and ready to go.

Do you have any freshmen that will impact your team this season?

    5 Jake Tate
He was the #1 rated athlete and he will be a big part of our passing game this season

    Recruiting focus for this year?

Depth-we have solid young starters at most positions, but if we have injuries, we will be in a world of hurt.

    Biggest game on your schedule?

    Hard to decide between 3:
Week 2 visit to Norman to face #8 Oklahoma, returning home to face my old squad
Week 7 trip to Tallahassee to face the #13 Noles
Week 14 the #1 Alabama Crimson Tide come to town
