Spurs Sign Okur The San Antonio Spurs signed PF Mehmet Okur this week to a 1-yr $1.5M deal. Okur will bring much needed size to the Spurs' front court, as well as a nice shooting touch, which the Spurs love. San Antonio has been getting out-manned on the boards all season, so Okur is exactly what the Spurs need from their big man.
Yeah he is a great role-player to replace Matt Bonner. Bonner has a nice stroke but with a $3M contract and a 53 player rating he is def not worth the $$
