The Lions always play the Packers tough with both owners. So going into this game, I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Well it wasn't at all. The Lions have a great defense, but their offense is missing that playmaker at wide receiver to make the defense honest.

Green Bay got on the board first as Rodgers would find a wide open Finley from 15 for the early 7-0 lead. Enter the second quarter. The Lions Houston would pick off a Rodgers pass and take the distance from 51 to tie up the score at 7. Green Bay would answer back as Rodgers would find Amber for a 49 yard touchdown strike and a 14-7 lead. Mason Crosby would kick a 38 yard field goal to end the half.

Late in the third, Stafford would find Reeves wide open over the middle for a 19 yard score to inch within 3. As the fourth quarter started, the Lions started to drive once again. Sensing momentum had shifted after a 83 yard Jason Brewer touchdown run was called back because of a hold, the Packers defense knew they had to step up. MLB Johansen read Stafford's eyes and picked off the 5th Stafford pass and returned it 83 yards for the score and more importantly the 2 score lead, 24-14. A late Mason Crosby 49 yard fieldgoal rounded out the scoring, 27-14.
