UCLA got out to a nice lead early 14-0 and 17-7. Then our lousy FG kicker missed a FG and the game switched. We hit it full power from 47 yards with a slight wind at our back and it was short...

Stanford was everywhere on D and moving the ball with ease. They would end up catching the Bruins at 24 with under 2 minutes left.

What has become a cause for concern is our total inability to cause a TO or catch a pick when the opp arises. We had a few shots in this game to really put it on ice but our DBs simply cant catch the ball, its been an ongoing issue all season.

I added it up before this game and we had 51 pass defelections on the year and two

We wernt sure if we wanted to try and win it here or be conservative and go to OT.

We decided to go for it and try to win, Dan Thomas RB who was our main weapon all day hit a nice long run then got a catch and moved the ball down the field.

Freshman QB Jeff Banks who has played better and better as of late hit a couple passes and we got into FG range and made an iced FG from about 25 yards to win at the buzzer.

A very close game that came right down to the end.

POG RB Dan Thomas with 135 yds and a td and QB Jeff Banks who threw for over 300 yds and 2 tds.

    GG BBJ.
