So, when are we kicking this thing off? Are we going to wait for rosters? Sliders? Or are we rolling day 1?

I say we wait for rosters. I want a couple of days to make a playbook, see how recruiting works, and see how the actual game plays. As for sliders, I say we just start with default and make adjustments as necessary.

What he said. Rosters will be much faster with the upgraded interface and at least a few ppl making them will have Season Ticket so they'll get started 3 days before it officially drops, meaning it should take more than a couple days after release before we get an accurate set. A couple days to test out difficulties and take/give input about some of the new coaching/recruiting stuff would probably serve us well overall anyway. We could probably start up by Thursday or Friday at the latest.

I think we should try to start on the 13th.... it's a saturday and if everyone can make themselves available we can play through preseason and the first couple weeks to jumpstart our year!

I assume that a named roster will be available by then, but that isnt a deal breaker for me. More importantly, it gives everyone at least a few days to play the game, test recruiting, design a playbook etc. Honestly though, even if you hate your PB, we are likely to be hitting year 2 withing 2-3 weeks, so you can just switch it then.

I can't buy the game until my paycheck on the 12th so anytime later than that would be nice

Boating is a daytime event...... I still think we should all get on the night of the 13th, knock out preseason and week 1 then move to week 2!

That's fine. I just know I won't be home til like 8-9p est on Saturday.
Shouldn't be a problem to do the things you mentioned.

Was just giving an estimate so people had an expectation.

a couple months ago i would have been. of course, that was while I was looking for work.

Now... not so much. Just can't wait for a few more people to leave and I can adopt their schedules.

I dont think the high life of LA involves two little kids running around. Imagine Cheez trying to bring a girl home and have her see kids toys lying around everywhere and Cheez saying "I swear, they're not mine!"

We'll start as soon as named rosters are available. Sorry for the absence.
