The Steelers welcomed their hated rival, the Cleveland Browns to the big ketchup bottle for their week 7 matchup. After their meeting a few weeks ago when the Steelers controlled the game from beginning to end, they knew this Browns team would come in much better prepared.

The game would start with both defenses forcing 3 and outs, but after a horrible punt by the Steelers the Browns would begin their second possession in Steelers territory. The Browns didn't waste any time as they would score on a perfectly executed HB screen to RB Elmore from 12 yards out to take a 7-0 lead in the first. The second quarter didn't feature much action as both teams would add a field goal and the score would be 10-3 Browns, going into the half.

Opening with the ball in the 2nd half, the Steelers noticed the Browns were bringing run blitzes on almost all 1st downs in the first half and decided to try to catch the Browns off guard with a pass. The gamble would pay off as QB Zane Gray would connect with WR DaVonte Belton for a 73 yard catch and run to tie the game at 10, just 10 seconds into the half. After an interception by RGKnee, the Steelers would strike with another big play when LeVeon Bell would take the handoff and run 34 yards for the score to give the Steelers their first lead of the game at 17-10. The lead didn't last long. On the Browns first play on their next possession, RGKnee threw a jumpball into double coverage to Dee Irvin and Irvin outjumped both defenders en route to an 80 yard catch and run to tie the game at 17. The Steelers would add another FG before the end of the quarter to go into the 4th with a 20-17 lead.

The 4th quarter would also have it's share of big plays. After the Browns tied the game up early in the 4th at 20, the Steelers felt the momentum slipping away. Pittsburgh responded with a time consuming drive with RB Marcus Tillman capping it off with a 5 yard run to give the Steelers a 27-20 lead with 2:05 remaining. On the Browns next possession, while trying to tie the score RGKnee was picked off at the Browns 34 by Prince Amukamura with about 1:30 left in the game. Feeling they just needed to run the ball 3 times and kick a field goal the Steelers kept it conservative but the Browns defense stepped up and actually pushed the Steelers back 2 yards to the 36. With winds howling 11 MPH in the opposite direction the Steelers decided to punt and put the game on their defense. The defense would indeed step up as Amukamura would pick off RGKnee again, essentially ending the game after a knee.

    Final Score 27-20
