Pittsburgh kept their playoff hopes alive with a 24-21 victory over Cincinnati and their new head coach Hulk Hagen. Coach Hagen was spouting off to the media earlier this week about the Steelers and Coach Steudle needing luck to win this week, and it didn't go unnoticed. As with most teams this season, the Bengals were able to pound the rock vs the Steelers resulting in 125 yards on the ground collectively. Steven Jackson carried most of the load and ended the day with 107 yards on 19 carries with a TD. Although they've struggled vs the run, the Steelers pride themselves on knocking the snot out of opposing rushers and this week was no different. Pittsburgh forced 5 turnovers for the second straight week, 3 of which were fumbles. Trailing 24-14 in the 4th, Cincinnati drove the field and pulled the Bengals within 3 of the Steelers when newly named starting QB Matt Moore connected with David Gettis for the TD. The Bengals attempt at an onsides kick with under 2 minutes to play was unsuccessful and after a Big Ben first down pass to Heath Miller on first down, the Steelers were able to kneel it down for the win. Game Ball goes to the Steelers defense this week, another 5 turnovers forced and 10 in the last two weeks. Good Game Hulk, "can't wait" till next season!
