The Steelers opened the season with a big divisional matchup against the hated Browns. In a game that featured very little offense as both teams are working in several new faces on offense, the defense for both teams controlled most of the game. It was an ugly game to watch as both teams barely combined for 300 yards of total offense but that is what we are used to in the AFC North. The Steelers defense was able to control rookie QB Johnny Football throughout the game leading him to throw 4 interceptions, a couple of which were in the redzone and sacked him 4 times including twice on the final drive of the game. The Browns defense was no slouch as they came away with 2 sacks and 2 interceptions of their own, even putting QB Ben Roethlisberger out for a few plays. The only touchdowns would come on the ground from Ben Tate and LeVeon Bell.

The Steelers would take a 10-7 lead late in the game thanks to a field goal by Shaun Suisham. Cleveland would get the ball back late but with no timeouts left, the time would expire as Johnny Football was sacked by DT Steve Mclendon and the offense was unable to get back to the LOS to spike or hike the ball.

GG LtJustice hopefully our next matchup will have more offense lol
