The Steelers would travel to Cinci to open the 2019 season. Both teams look completely different than a couple seasons ago with the Steelers without WR Antonio Brown and FS Mike Mitchell and the Bengals without WR AJ Green, HB Gio Bernard and TE Tyler Eifert. With so much starpower gone, the question was who would step up and take their place?

For the Steelers their offense will be led by 3rd year players QB Zane Grey and WR Davonte Belton and reigning ROY HB Marcus Tillman. After the Bengals put together a great drive capped off by a 19 yard pass to WR Jonathan Baldwin to take the lead the Steelers needed to respond. That is when Grey would connect with Belton over the middle for a 52 yard catch and run to tie the game at 7. The Steelers would then add 10 more points before the half thanks to a short TD run by Tillman and a field goal. The Bengals would get the ball back with about 30 seconds to go in the half and after completing a pass to get into Steelers territory, the teams noticed a flag on the field. The call would be roughing the passer and would further push the Bengals into field goal range and they would kick a fg before the half to make it 17-10. The second half was mainly a defensive battle with the Steelers tacking on a field goal and the final score was 20-10.
