In the offseason, a couple managers predicted the demise of Strasburg, after hearing he was dealt to the White Sox. He is now out 12-13 months. Step up and take a bow.

Well at least it is a different injury, but worse then the shoulder inflammation he suffered last year.

The inflammation didn't heal completely and tore? Pretty sure that's bad management and a first class ticket to a b2b #1 seed in the Gm award

Shoulder inflammation and a UCL tear requiring tommy john are two different things. I mean he was shut down last year for the inflammation and should have been fine for the spring. If it wasn't then it might attribute in adding more stress on the arm and elbow itself, but that is IRL terms, who knows with the game.

Bad mechanics are bad mechanics. How many more years do you think Stras has in real life? Maybe 4?

I don't know honestly and could type up a paragraph or two about mechanics and the body.
We could see him be done this year or next or go into early 30s. Soooo I'll take the over and under :smug:

I'm not saying that I'm hoping his arm falls off in his next start... but who am I kidding, of course I'm saying that. F the Nats and their shitty "stars".

Hope he stays healthy for a while. I like seeing some of the under the radar teams doing well and the Yankees, Giants, Angels falling back a bit
