Let me start by saying that Alabama is a very, very good team.

The CPU covered the edges aggressively, even bringing up the lone safety at times. This had me audible out of the run I had usually called into short pass to counter the blitz. Kevin Norwood turned two short passes into long catch and run TDs. The corner covering Norwood seemed completely over matched. Even before his third TD I became self-conscious about throwing to Norwood. That TD was his seventh catch of the game at a time he was my third read, but he was always open when others like White had trouble beating the press. White would also turn a short pass into a long TD late in the third.
