#2 Michigan State 44 vs #20 Notre Dame 24
MSU went to South Bend knowing they would be challenged by all of the team speed on Notre Dame's squad. But they managed to come out with a win to maintain their win streak. MSU's defense came to play, shutting out ND in the first half. This allowed MSU's offense to start slow and play mistake free football to open the game. Notre Dame managed to put up a barrage of points in the second half, but only after the game was already out of hand.
Offensive Player of the game: MSU WR Lippett (9rec - 133yds - 1td)
Defensive Player of the game: MSU DT Reynolds (6 tackles - 5 sacks)
Next up... Navy.
#1 MSU 72 vs Navy 6
This one was put away early. Navy didn't come to play as their defense allowed MSU to put up 28 points in the first quarter. The backups went in early in the second quarter but not much drop-off was seen. MSU's backup QB Wilcox led the offense efficiently up and down the field several times before the head coach decided it was time to call off the dogs and run the clock.
MSU RB Brock: 12 carries - 160 yds - 3 total TD - 13.3ypc
Next up... Indiana.
