It could of been called, and might of been the right call. However there is NOOO way that a referee is going to throw a flag on such a questionable ruling on the game-deciding play in the SB.

In that type of situation you have to let them play it out. I agreed with the no-flag, honestly. It's the same reason you hardly EVER see fouls called on the game-winning shot in the NBA. Refs shouldn't decide the game. Not to mention it would take a ref with some pretty big stones to be brave enough to throw it.

BAL wins by 3 just like I called it!

I'm not denying it was a holding at all. But you can't go down 28-6 in the second half, and then blame the refs when you lose. The 9ers were dead in the water, and looked defeated before the lights went out. Had that not happened, I don't think they would of put up 20 in the game. Luck is a 2 way street. Can't expect the refs to bail you out.

Agreed, thought the playcall was terrible! A fade to Crabtree?! Forget you have Davis or even Moss on that play but if you look at it Kaepernick was going to get smashed and that ball was uncatchable.

Yeah I didn't think it was catchable be either. I thought all 4 plays were bad calls, really. But yeah Kaep was gonna be sacked if he didn't throw up a prayer. Hard to get that call on a prayer throw.
