The Colts opened up the 2016 campaign the way a head coach just flat out loves...with a bruising victory over there out of divsion rivals the Ravens. Coming into the season the Colts added depth with a strong draft class.

Losing there ring leader on defense in Robert Mathis, they looked for the next in line. For as well as the additions like LE/DT McCadden, RE Narcisse, RE Anderson and LB Small have faired, an under the radar player flexed his muscles in week 1. Speedy special team pick up CB Ballard had an amazing introduction in his home opener. Ballard would take a punt and a kickoff back to the house to propell his Colts past the Ravens. The recent added transaction by the Colts out of FA proved to be a great decision as it would be Ballard and Leon Washington battling for special teams duties. Andrew Luck had a near perfect day going 12/14 for 342yds and 4tds.

The Colts picked apart the Ravens overly aggresive D, as Luck would connect twice to rookie standout WR Harrison on deep passes. Harrison would snag 3recs for 158yds and 2tds. The Ravens moved the ball well for the most part but it came late. Torrey Smith had a busy day hauling in 6recs for 127yds and a td.
The Colts travel to Heinz field next week to face the "Black n' Yellow"
    gg cuz
