Guys, We are going to be announcing teams for the 3rd season of TCBL in this post. We will also be releasing details of our format over the next few days. For those that were around for TCBL 1, it will be very similar. Our goal is to try and have 3 user teams in each division. With that said, here we go......... TEAM 1 - AL EAST Depth Chart Can Randiesel75 put the Yankees back on top of the baseball world?
TEAM 2 - AL EAST Depth Chart Can DrunkenSoldier take the new look Blue Jays from worst to first in the AL East? The addition of RA. Dickey, Josh Johnson, Mark Buehrle, Jose Reyes and Melky Cabrera makes this one of the more exciting teams in the league.
New look is right, the Blue Jays are looking really good this year. I admit I haven't been following MLB that much this offseason, so this is the first I have seen the new squad. Good to have another Irishman with me in the AL East
TEAM 3 - AL EAST Depth Chart The Red Sox were a mess in 2012. They have dumped about half of their roster and got rid of their staff and are starting over in Boston. They still have plenty of talent, but can uagrad90 return them to their form from the 2000s?
TEAM 1 - AL CENTRAL Depth Chart Another year, another season, same owner in Cleveland. Can the wily veteran ryty32 take the moves that the Indians made this off season and turn the Tribe around this release? New additions to the outfield, including Michael Bourn (get it together, ESPN...he isn't on their depth chart) Nick Swisher and Drew Stubbs, along with slugger Mark Reynolds give the Cleveland faithful something to look forward to this summer. Good Luck!
TEAM 2 - AL CENTRAL Depth Chart The Tigers rocked the American League last year, running through the playoffs straight to an American League pennant. They did come up short in the World Series, but this team is still prime for another deep playoff run with the likes of Miguel Cabrera, Prince Fielder and Justin Verlander still on the roster. Can you, redwings8831 , finish off what they started last year and bring a World Series Title to Detroit?
TEAM 3 - AL CENTRAL Depth Chart The Minnesota Menace returns to Target Field this release with a retooled team. The biggest question for these guys, can Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau FINALLY stay healthy and anchor the middle of this lineup this season? If that answer is yes, these guys have more than a shot in the AL Central with controllerabuser on the sticks.
TEAM 1 - AL WEST Depth Chart A dramatic final week of the 2012 season saw the Oakland A's stun the Texas Rangers and take the AL West crown. Despite overcoming great odds last season, the A's enter the season again as an underdog to the Angels and Rangers. They return much of their 2012 roster though so there's no reason to underestimate them as thirdalarm looks to take them back to the playoffs and hopefully all the way to a World Series title.
Early Early Early prediction...the rangers and angels will BOTH miss the playoffs in TCBL. A's and Mariners are my sleepers!
TEAM 2 - AL WEST Depth Chart It's been a long time since the Mariners have been relevant and then they go and trade away the face of their franchise last season. However, King Felix is now locked up and the Mariners have rebuilt their team with a lot of young and promising players. The future is bright in Seattle and G_T_G will be looking to make that future a reality.
TEAM 3 - AL WEST Can cadepetty247 get the Rangers over the proverbial "hump" and win it all? How will he replace the huge losses of Josh Hamilton, Michael Young, Mike Napoli and Yu Darvish (already traded to the Indians in TCBL)? How will Cade get the electrifying Jurickson Profar into the lineup? Though this team has many questions, they are still incredibly talented. And with Cade on the sticks, I think we have an early favorite to win the AL West.
