NL EAST - TEAM 1 Could this Nationals roster be the best in baseball? There are many that think so. With a rotation that features phenom Strasburg and Dan Haren as your #4 starter (gross), you easily have one of the best rotations in MLB. If the offense can equal or improve on last season's #5 ranking, they will be awfully tough to top in the NL. Put Knightnoles (a legitimate fan of the Nationals who actually used this team pre Stras and Harper) on the sticks and you have my early favorite to win season 1 of TCBL 3.
Keep it going guys! Wish I could play but time is at a premium. I will be playing some diamond dynasty when I have some time here and there.
NL EAST - TEAM 2 One of the classiest guys you will find anywhere takes the reigns of one of the more talented rosters in the National league. With his strong knowledge of baseball (all sports in general) and his ability in the Show to flat out rake, I think we found a team that could challenge the Nats. Oh...and look at that outfield.
NL EAST - TEAM 3 Depth Chart Woe is the Mets. The Mets have tried to keep up with the Yankees financially for many years, but things began to fall apart. Most of their big contracts are finally gone and have been replaced with young players, but they also decided to trade away 2012 Cy Young winner R.A. Dickey to Toronto. This is a team looking for an identity and something to build on and OhDaesu19 will have the task of making sure that happens.
NL CENTRAL - TEAM 1 Depth Chart Even if he feels the Cubs are World Series contenders, the Cubs are nowhere near the team they were for most of the last decade. They do have some promising young players in Castro, Rizzo, and Jackson but this team will need some work before they are truly ready to contend. There's no doubt though that _MG_ is up for the challenge and is going to contend from day 1.
NL CENTRAL - TEAM 2 Depth Chart In 2012, the Pirates came very close to breaking .500 for the first time in quite some time. It ended up not coming to fruition but they showed that these are not the Pirates we've grown accustomed to. Pittsburgh is poised to make some noise in 2013 thanks to an improved pitching staff and the signing of Russell Martin. Now it will just be up to pitt4life21 to take control of their potential and get the Pirates back to the playoffs.
NL CENTRAL - TEAM 3 Depth Chart Despite being one of the strongest NL teams for the last couple seasons, the Reds haven't been able to capitalize on their strength in the playoffs. That has led to them mixing some things up this season. Scott Rolen is gone and so is Drew Stubbs, but the addition of Shin Soo Choo should be a nice fit for the Great American Ballpark. The Reds are also moving Aroldis Chapman from relief back to being a starting pitcher. With Dusty Baker being replaced by SFRANGER6969 though, that could be the biggest move for this team.
