Archived TCBL with MLB the Show 12

Hello Guys!

I can't wait. As you know I have some ideas cookin in the oven for TCBL with the show 12. Before we get to that I want to get some chatter going about the number of Owners in TCBL, season length, application process and team selection.

Application Process

TCBL is somewhat of a demanding and GM intensive league. This league is NOT for you if you just want to play online. This league is NOT for you if you have a hard time scheduling user games. This league is NOT for you if you can't commit to playing at least 5 games a week. If you are interested in participating in TCBL Online Franchise, please review the league handbook here and answer the following questions in a post.

The following guys are on the Executive Management Committee:

too bad he signed with the Astros, good for him though because he will probably be starting in a year

I'm not sure. My gut says no, but if we absolutely had to I would put it to a league wide vote.

Hey guys, just checking in here, picking this up on release. I read all the rules and stuff and it sounds like a great sim league. Not sure If I'm gonna have time to commit BUT i'll keep an eye on the board here and if I get good I'll see about joining you guys around launch. Happy New Year

Why you want to be in TCBL: I want to be in a fun competitive active league
What would you like to see in an the Show Online Franchise League?: I would like to see progression over multiple seasons as well as a draft and real Minor league rosters

What do you like about the Show?: The realism. It's the best baseball game hands down. It's so fluid.
Why you want to be in TCBL: Cause it's the best run league in the planet.
What would you like to see in an the Show Online Franchise League?: The whole league sticking it out. Hoping that we can have a consistent membership.
Questions about TCBL MLB 12 plans?: Baseball is all about statistics. Are we going to be tracking HR, RBI, SB, etc statistical leaders? How about awards at the end of the season like the Silver Slugger, Gold Glove, Cy Young, Hank Aaron, etc?

Yea the stats are highly important to our league and what we do. You sound like a candidate to handle awards tracking tho!

Hopefully the online franchise mode does most of that work for us.
