For your records I guess... I PMed @Blaza a few days ago and I guess we can just move that conversation here. He said he'll be busy for awhile so I'm just assuming he'll check back in when things slow down.

Me and Blaza did ours already. Just had to make up that half and we did. Played it to a 0-0 draw so the score for the match should be 1-0 Lyon. How should we handle the goal and events from the first time? I don't think there were any cards the first time and I know there weren't any the second time, but I'll just let Blaza post the results in case he remembers who scored for him.

Ah - my bad! I didn't see this posted. Um, don't worry about the times of stuff. If you can post the goal scorer and any other info, that would be great.

I updated the standings - no need to post that other half result Ryalaman or Blaza. I got it sorted properly so that goal diff is the second tiebreaker.

These two matches between Wolfsburg and Lyon are make or break! If Wolfsburg can scratch across a victory, they're moving on and sending Porto and Villarreal home. Otherwise, Porto are through. What a group!

About what time tomorrow can you go? And how far should we run the clock before starting to play? I think we were around the 65th minute or so when it disconnected so around there I guess.
Tomorrow evening works best for me. 10pm EST too late?

Hmm... I just went back to look at my PMs and I had Ryla scheduled for 10pm. We played earlier and I was on for most of the evening after that--did we talk about this on XBL? If so, I apologize for missing you--I have been a scatterbrained POS for the past few weeks.

At any rate it is a tad easier to schedule/communicate on here on TF since Im on and off the box and miss XBL msgs sometime . Do you have an availability today/tonight?

@Basis4aDay56 Gomis was the goalscorer in the Porto match.

@Blaza Come on man. From what I hear, you're going to destroy me when we play. However, I don't want to be eliminated in the group without a fighting chance just because you are not getting on to play me when you say you'll be on. I know you have a life. We both have lives. I've had 3 midterms this week. I'm pretty flexible though. Pick a time and let's make the butt pounding official.

Love the MC Hammer. My first cd ever bought.

You're lucky I cannot finish to save my life. First game, I had a one on one at the end and missed the entire goal. Second game, I had at least 3 one on ones/open shots on goal and couldn't make any of them either. :( Blaza is an assassin infront of net. He had one goal I thought my goalie had for sure because of the angle but he slipped right around him. I nearly cried. I think it was a really even game though. The 4-1 scoreline doesn't really do it justice. It was mostly back and forth until the end when he scored the two quickies when I'm trying to all out attack to win.

Fair assessment. I ran kind of an unfamiliar tactic to try to combat your 3-5-2. Your attacking mid was causing me some problems and on the opposite end, Gomis was causing havoc as a target man.

Your passing is very good, once you start putting away your chances you will start knocking people out left and right.

Yeah, the 3-5-2 is a hit or miss tactic. It scores a lot but I have to be really disciplined defensively. I usually put up a lot of points with it. I usually run the formation you ran in the first game but I wanted to try to score early and shut it down but I made a few early mistakes to let you score and killed that idea off.
