    Team Choices

    It's that time again.

    Let's reshuffle the deck, so to speak, and get our team choices out there. Some of us have decided to play elsewhere next year, and that has opened things up a bit. For one, my Buckeyes will be open. Also, Notre Dame will no longer be coached by Dat in the West. Hitman is the new ND coach in the West. I think Shaun will want my Buckeyes, but those interested can surely put in a request.

    Now, the same setup is in place:

    West:
    3 Big Ten teams (+ Notre Dame)
    4 Pac Ten teams
    4 Big 12
    - 2 North & 2 South

    East:
    4 Big East
    4 ACC
    - 2 Atlantic & 2 Coastal
    4 SEC
    - 2 East & 2 West

    For now, just post your "perfect world" top three. Don't worry about who has what team now. We literally have months to work this out. Post who you want, and we'll spend some time getting it all together. Also, I need volunteers for the commish gig. PM those to me, though.

    OK, let's get this discussion rolling.

    Oregon is up for grabs as well. I am not going to continue my spot in the OFFL West after the 09 edition of the game. Instead, I will focus on the OFFL "blog" OD, an OFFL CAS OD, and another OD. 3 is my perfect amount.

    We are still continuing what we have going now until 2010 drops correct?

    If I am invited to play in the Premier or Experience league then I would go with Michigan in that one and I would no longer be in the OFFL West.

    If I was to stay in the West I would prefer ND but if Hitman gets them then I would need to stay with Michigan.

    Michigan

    If I am invited to play in the "experience" league or premier league then I would want to play as Michigan State in that one, instead of in OFFL West. My three teams would look like this for the non-premier league (East or West).

    Tennessee
    Washington
    Georgia

    There are invites out there, so let's treat this thread as if this is the only league we're in at the moment. So put you top three out there without anticipating playing somewhere else, unless you already know you are.

    Also, I have decided to take some advice from Dat and present the E-League not as a premiere kind of thing, like an exclusive club or anything, but rather as something simply different. Guys in the East and West can do everything the E-League will be doing, including the more involved game reporting and such. I see the East and West as leagues set up to provide the best in player vs. player competition, since the leagues are set up to put guys up against each other and create great rivalry games. I'm considering playing in both for that reason, though I haven't made a decision yet. Plus, the idea of a "Superbowl" kind of game between the leagues sounds really cool.

    Anyway, just post your teams here as if this were the only league you are playing in. We'll fill in the rest later.

    Also, Raz, if you don't mind, could we get another graphic?

    UCLA Bruins. I dont think anyone else would want the Bruins with how bad they will be in NCAA10 but if I had to pick a second I would go with ASU Sundevils (my sister went there. At least she didnt go to USC!)

    What I see so far:

    West:

    Michigan = Suge
    Notre Dame = Hitman
    California = Hova
    Recchem = UCLA

    East:

    Tennessee = JC
    Florida State = AMP
    Georgia Tech = AG

    Now, AMP usually plays FSU, and Recchem asked for UCLA, but both of you are playing these teams in the E-League. Are you asking to play them in two leagues, or should I open up these spots, or get new choices from you?

    And the rest of you need to speak up.

    By the way, if I play, I will play the the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, unless a commish bumps me.

    Which reminds me - we have two commish gigs open. Speak up if you want access to the backstage stuff around here.

    I want the Noles in the E League and the East as well. Two leagues is my MAX with Amp Jr running around the house. If I can't keep up with both of them, I'll drop the Noles in the East before the E League. BTW, the E LEAGUE LOGO is coming along nicely.

    You can open up my slot in the West. I just wanted to make sure I had UCLA in one of these OD's.

    My bad. I thought I'd be putting you in as FSU. I'll put you in as 'Bama.

    West:

    Michigan = Suge
    Notre Dame = Hitman
    California = Hova
    Recchem = UCLA

    East:

    Tennessee = JC
    Florida State = AMP
    Georgia Tech = AG
    Alabama = Mazzman

    Still quite a few spots out there.

    AG, you can take me out as UCLA since I have them in the E league. I may run with another team in one of these leagues but im not sure yet.
