Team of the Dynasty so far???

I was sittin here thinking about the schools and how well they have done so far....... is winning national titles the only criteria.... or is just generally being dominate count also.... I mean...

Oregon -- Bogey has two national title appearances with one BCS title....and two Big XII titles....
Texas A&M -- Drifter has a national title appearance with a Big XII title..
USC -- Flo has a national title appearance and a BCS title with a Big XII title
UCLA -- Lawdog somehow does have a Big XII title or BCS appearance.... but his record is outstanding...
Georgia -- BBJ probably has the best record of any team in the dynasty....
Virginia Tech -- Sanders has a national title appearance and a SEC title, he also went undefeated to a SEC title game and lost to Georgia.....
Virginia -- I have a national title win and two SEC titles in 3 appearances....

My vote goes to Oregon or Georgia.... they have consistently been in the top 10 throughout the dynasty..... if i had to choose one... it would be Oregon... two BCS title game appearances is huge, because i understand how hard it is to get there.....

UCLA should not be on the list.

Two division Titles and no conference Titles, and no BCS games.

I think you also should probably take into account the best recruiter and where the programs were originally before taking over. Wins on the field should take precedence though.

With that being said, I think Oregon has done a great job.

There is just so little separating pretty much every team its crazy. I cant think of 1 year a guy just dominated throughout. I think we are beginning to see some separation as guys true teams take form with all there recruits, and I love the new 1-cut recruiting rule, makes every recruit mean something. Its pretty cool to see UCLA/Virgina/A&M as the 3 top dogs this season; if these weren't the worst 3 rosters in year 1 they had to be in the bottom half for sure, so that speaks to some great recruiting.

For the future I see teams success going in waves, as those big(20-22) recruiting classes blossom into upperclassmen, and then graduated and leave a team with holes.

Oh as for a specific team, have to go with Virgina here with Georgia and A&M a close second. I think they were a 4-star program to begin with and the roster left much to be desired.

Why is Georgia Tech not on this list? It is hard damn work losing all of these games.

This is a very tough thread, but I think I would have to give it to Bogey and JR. Both guys have done great stuff, season after season.

I like what Drifter said, but Georgia or UVa are my two.

They are the biggest games each year on my schedule (sorry Penn State).
I know Penn State has beaten me, but Georgia and UVa are the measuring sticks for my seasons.

if i had to pick between the two ... it's tough ... but i'd go with JRawlins. Now I will go throw up.

if recruiting and buidling the program is added to the list, then Drifter probably gets my vote, but as far as just straight success on the field... like i said earlier its either Georgia or Oregon...
