The Madden NFL 13 demo offers two Play Now matchups. One features the Super Bowl XLVI champion New York Giants visiting the San Francisco 49ers in a rematch of last season’s NFC Championship game. The other involves the Seattle Seahawks traveling to the Washington Redskins, who are of course led by rookie QB Robert Griffin III. And before you step onto the field for either of these matchups, you’ll get to check out the redesigned pregame presentation. That includes a broadcast TV-inspired segment that features some top players in the upcoming game you’re about to play, and is followed by Jim Nantz and Phil Simms in the booth talking about the story of the game.

I have to say switching to Phil Simms is a big negative from a presentation standpoint in my eyes.

Demo is an entire game with 5 minute quarters, and you can choose difficulty.

It also involves voice commands for kinect and the game face feature that will transfer over to the retail version. Pretty impressive for a demo in my opinion.

Not quite sure why they chose Seahawks v. Redskins though...

I've been really excited to play with RGIII, pretty happy I get to use him right away in the demo.

Good to know that I will get to practice with my team a couple of weeks early. Also curious to see how the Alex Smith + Randy Moss connection works out.

I've never been so pumped for a demo in my life. I can't believe they put all the features in it. They didn't even used to have announcers in the demos. I've never played a demo that let you use kinect either.

Can you create your game face in the demo? Or do you create it on their website and upload it?

I am guessing by using the Kinect or Xbox Live Vision Camera?

Setup your game face on your ea sports account, because that's what you import.
