Ok guys I want us all to make 1 post with team scholarship info, then edit it through out the season as we sing players. As a bit of a make up from the first file going :doodie: on us I have decided to allow us to sign up to the full 25 schollys available. This is the only season we can do this, I am allowing this to give us more of a feel that our team is indeed ours.

However, we need to track the recruits as there is still a glitch that will over sign players at end of the year. THose players will need to be cut, period. As you may imagine some people will go over 70 players with this one time exception, so cutting will be important to some. After this season we will be back to normal TSO rules.

Also, in attempt to avoid 5k threads, I want a 2:1 ratio on CPU game recaps. Meaning by week 6 if you have player 4 CPU game you need at least 2 recaps. As always user games will be recapped by the winners. I will make a thread for this soon, and if you already have week 1 recaps I can move them.

Failure to keep up on the recaps will result in ball busting, and if it is a constant issue I will start chopping down those 25 available scholarships. This is a unique rule and a generous one, most leagues require ALL game to have recaps. IF you chose to do more thats great, will look good for you down the road.

Danthraxxx any restrictions on prospects. I've got a :5stars: WR who had me #1 and I've dumped time and scouting into him. I'd really love to opportunity to sign him.

    MIZZOU LANDS 1st COMMIT

:3stars: DT Terrance Young from El Paso committed to the Missouri Tigers at a ceremony at his high school. He's the #14 DT prospect and #339 player overall. The Tiger coaches are very excited about him. "He's a guy we started watching last season. We told him that we might be interested if he coul improve some of his block shedding skills and we grades his games this past season as excellent (80 Power Moves, 80 Finesse, 73 Block Shedding), we really think once we get him into a college program he can be a great player especially as he puts on weight."

Young is a 6'1" 265lb prospect who improved his overall by 5 points (69 to 74) through some tireless devotion to the weight room. He is great in pursuit (80) especially from an interior line position. He figures to see some solid playing one next season as the DL at Missouri takes some big hits from graduation.

In other recruiting news Missouri has 6 prospects visiting for this weeks clash against #5 Alabama: :4stars: OLB Kyle Joyce from Carrollton, GA, :4stars: HB Kyle Sullivan from Southlake, TX, :3stars: DE Prince Moody from South Gate, MD, :4stars: MLB Luke Broussard from Kendall, FL, :3stars: TE Mike Adams from Newport, TN, and :3stars: CB Joey Larson from Edinburg, TX.

Missouri also hopped to the top of the list for :4stars: #2 overall FS Marcus Moss. He said "Tennessee is still in it but they haven't showed me any love, and Missouri has been all over me since the beginning of the season. I think Tennessee is probably 5th right now, but they could make a move. You never know.

Damn you bama, leave Moss alone! I'll show him some of the Rocky Top babes when I get him on campus. Plus, welcome to the SEC, he'll have a new Mercedes to drive to school the next week. You'll learn Mizzou, in time

Missouri Picks Up 2 New Commits

Columbia, MO- 2 future superstars signed with the Missouri Tigers on Monday night. :4stars: WR Steven Mayo and :3stars: CB Joey Larson.

Mayo is the speedy jack of all trades WR Coach Pinkel has been looking for. His hands aren't great, but he makes the tough catches in traffic, and makes unbelievable catches possible (58 catch, 70 spectacular, 77 CIT.) And he makes up for his shortcomings with blazing speed and excellent route running skills (95 spd, 88 RR) The coaches are excited to see him in the field. He will likely redshirt next season due to returning depth at WR. He has regressed a little in his senior year, (72 down from 74)but the coaches still like his athleticism and what he can bring to the field when he makes it to Missouri.

Joey Larson is a great cover corner from Texas, who has shown immense improvement over the last season. He's got good size at 6' 191lbs. And is very good in zone or man coverage and is exceptional at redirecting the WR off the line (85 zone, 83 man, 80 press) Larson lacks top end speed (88) but he has shown an ability to maximize and grow his talent that the coaches really liked (71 up 4 from 67)

Both players visited last week when Mizzou played Alabama and said that playing in games against top shelf opponent was a deciding factor.

I've mentioned this one before in a different thread but I got a commit from :4stars:OLB Curtis Hill who is not a need position but too good of a player to pass up. He may get some playing time next year but will be a leading candidate to start in his 2nd year on campus. Incredible in coverage (80 zone, 73 man) that is explosive in a straight line (91 Acc, 80 Sp) but will need to work on his lateral movement to best be able to keep up in the SEC.

Also a pickup of :3stars:FS James Neal who will probably see an immediate conversion to SS because he accels at tackling and playing in the box plus the ability to play earlier with some talented FS already at Tennessee. With time he should continue to improve in coverage but right now he would be abused by slot receivers in the conference.

Tennessee also had a 12 prospects on campus for the home win this week against Bama, we will have to wait and see if any commit but there were reports that a few walked away very impressed with the program and playing in front of 100,000 strong Rocky top loyal fans.

Coach Hugh "Illaim" Freeze recently arrived on campus at Oxford and has made his first statements on his recruiting plans.

"I have a very positive outlook as far as recruiting is concerned. Yes we will face some obstacles being a 2 Star program, but we have a very solid recruiting base which includes a strong array of Pipeline states which will propel us to the heights we have pledged to reach."

Ole Miss had already signed five recruits before Freeze arrived

    Jason Pace :4stars: Tackle 6'3 268lbs #253 (#20 T)

    Josh Fuller :3stars: Outside Linebacker 6'2 229lbs #992 (#55 OLB)

    Tony Howard :3stars:Defensive End 6'5 283lbs #563 (#46 DE)

    Jason Carter :3stars: Defensive Tackle 6'1 283lbs #1324 (#77 DT)

    Mike Atkins :1stars: Fullback 6'1 255lbs #2609 (#37 FB)

On those recruits Freeze stated "We will have to look into those who've committed to our school before my arrival. I will try my best to honor the promises made to them and the one time 25 scholarship option will help with that."

    2 MORE RECRUITS CHOOSE MIZZOU

Columbia, MO- :4stars: running back Keith Sullivan, and :3stars: DE Prince Moody chose Mizzou on Friday night.

Sullivan is the star RB at Texas high school powerhouse Southlake Carroll. He isn't the fastest RB but he is extremely slippery and elusive. He figures to take a redshirt his freshman season due to Josey and Lawerence set to return. He could be a very important cog in Mizzou's spread offense as he matures.

Prince Moody is a solid DE prospect out of ACC country. He is extremely quick off the ball and does a good job of shedding blockers. He may get some playing time next season, but the Missouri coaches would like to redshirt him to allow him to grow into a contributing role.

Ole Miss has signed its first recruit during the Coach "Illaim" Freeze era with Cornerback Courtney Ingram committing to suit up for the Rebals next year.

    Courtney Ingram :3stars:Cornerback 6'1 187lbs #1041 (#91)

Asked to comment on the new signee Coach Freeze replied:

“We feel that Mr. Ingram can definitely become an asset to our program in a few years. He has good size for a corner and runs a 4.38 and already has coverage skills in the 70’s. His overall might not raise eyebrows, but we are confident that his play will in the years to come.”

Tennessee continues to sign solid recruits stemming from such a successful season.

In the past few weeks they signed #1 rated Center in the country Aaron Peoples who will be battle for the starting spot after next season and will need to work on his run blocking technique before he can get on the field. "He has all the physical tools that he needs to be successful, hell he even runs faster than some linebackers here!" said Coach Dooley

The volunteers also received a commitment from another 4 star DE John Rhodes, who they were able to steal away from the rival state of florida. He is a extremely strong player and we could see him rotating down to tackle on passing downs in the future.

Again, Coach Dooley has said he wanted to continue building the front lines of this team and appears he is doing so, 2 early signed OL plus 3DL and several other very interested prospects still on their board.
