    Tigers Keep Rolling

Columbia, MO- Missouri took down the #5 Alabama Crimson Tide in stunning fashion 48-31. After a low scoring 1st quarter the Tigers an Tide erupted for 45 combined in the second.

Trey Barrow banged in a 51 yard FG early in the 1st but McCarron hit Norwood for a 4 yard TD to put Alabama up 7-3 at the beginning of the 2nd. Just :30 into the second James Franklin hit the TE Waters for a 3 yard TD to retake the lead at 10-7. But the incredible barrage of scoring in the second had just begun. McCarron hit Norwood again this time from 55 yards out to move into the lea again. On the 1st play of the ensuing drive Franklin found Waters for their 2nd connection, only this time the athletic TE took it 69 yards for a score. McCarron found Norwood early in the next drive or a 3rd TD and a 21-17 lead. Franklin hurried the Tigers down the field, and carried in his 1st rushing TD of the day to move into the lead for good. Mizzou decided to use their TO to force Alabama to punt. And after getting the ball back at their own 16 scored from 84 yards out on a pass from Franklin to Lucas. An Alabama FG as time expired helped the Tigers go into the half up 31-24.

In the 3rd Franklin found Lucas again, this time from 22 out for his final TD pass of the day. He did lead 2 more scoring drives. A 29 yard FG by Trey Barrow, and also scampered in on the final play of the game as Missouri was trying to run out the clock.

    OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME
    James Franklin: 21-28 for 371 yards 4TD 0int; 12 carries 94 yards and 2 TD

    DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME
