Ok guys I hate typing this as much as you hate seeing it , but we need to figure out our set up going forward. As I mentioned in the other post 48hrs for CPU, 72 max for user is the only thing set in stone.

I will let the core members & myself pick the set up.

There will be a poll above, multiple answers again. If you have good points on why you feel a way speak up, so we can all work together.

I am in. I would prefer to have the Big XII in the next go around. I'm selfish and a homer, but I've never had the chance to use my favorite team in an OD and would love to have that chance.

To me, personally it always nice to have some or all powerhouses simply because it's nice to be in the MNC race from day one. But I am open to anything. I know the Big XII would be hard with no title game but adding 2 of the non BCS Texas schools (Houston, UTEP, SMU) or 2 schools close enough to be in the same region (Ark St., ULLA, ULM) or 2 schools that have been rumored to be expansion targets (Louisville, Memphis, FSU, Clemson, Notre Dame, Cincinnati, USF, UCF) would allow for a setup that has a title game.

If the Big XII isn't an option that's cool. I would like to be out of the Big East though. I've got Rutgers in another OD and we all know it gets old playing the same schools in 2 dynasties.

I'm just anxious to get it going again.

I like Bama's idea that we could do some custom expansion to the Big 12 and have all of us in that one league (outside of Texas & Oklahoma). I would also be fine with Big 10, SEC, or PAC 12 too (I think PAC 12 would be the most fun out of all of them, maybe add San Diego St. and Boise. Just some thoughts but I'm on board.

That's why I would like a multiple conference setup. I like having the powerhouses. I think that makes it more fun.

    SEC: Alabama, LSU, Florida, SCAR
    PAC: USC, Oregon,
B1G: OSU, Michigan Nebraska, Penn State
    Big XII: Texas, OU
    ACC: FSU, Clemson

If we wanted to go simply 2 conferences. We could move Boise and BYU to the Big XII or Boise and Notre Dame to the Big XII and go with a 6 team setup in 2 conferences. Just my .02 but the SEC would open up some interesting recruit battles.

Texas, OU, ND, Boise, Okie Lite, West Va

Bama, LSU, Arkie, Florida, SCAR, Georgia

That is a pretty well balance setup and anyone of those teams can beat any of the others. Sorry I keep harping on this but most of the other OD's aren't even using the Big XII and I am dying to use Texas. But if I can't so be it.

I feel changing all of the conferences by adding a title game and adding teams is kinda against the idea of sim, if it was up to me, I would prefer to be Iowa again as I have gotten to know their play style plus I am an alum:D

I see that 4star & under is getting some votes .... Here is my concern with that

I think it's safe to say we may not keep 12 the whole year, turnover may happen and for new guy to get last pick of the litter of those teams.

Also , if we do 2 conf set up SEC is damn near out of the options as they are stacked with so many good teams.

I have yet to vote, but I would probably do no star cap, 2 conf set up FWIW

Recruiting battles and rivalry games to be played among each other is what I believe to be important in this game. I don't hate playing the computer but I'd been along for 5 weeks and played only one against a fellow human. If we did want to go 2 conferences then I do think BIG 10+PAC 12, OR BIG 10+SEC, PAC 12+SEC. We would have to add teams to the BIG XII to actually make that conference deep enough and I don't think others are on board with that idea.

if we do a 2 conference set up i wouldnt mind a balanced one of like pac 12 and acc where its 2 separate parts of the country...that would make things interesting and 2 separate recruiting battles in a way

The way OC was set up past year was a B1G vs ACC battle. And we changed the bowl matchups so the winners of the conference met in the Orange Bowl unless they made the National Title Game. We could do something similar with the PAC 12 and B1G and the Rose. Or the SEC and B1G at the Sugar Bowl. I am just reanutk start playing games again.

thanks sreese , here is a list of the 4stars and under, I have a slight case of dyslexia so I need only the ones we can have before I disappoint myself lol, your work however is appreciated bud

So , I did not vote for :4stars:& under as I thought it will limit us a bit , here is the list below , I think SEC is a fine option , after that BIG 10 & ACC are about even IMO. If you guys vote PAC 12 I will take executive privilege and make sure I do not play in that conf, as my premier league (PFP) is PAC12. A man can only play Stanford so many times before he goes insane.
