It was a very slow night for the high-powered Oregon offense as they could get very little going, especially in the run game with De'Anthony Thomas' ability to bust one at any moment. The volunteers held Oregon to a lackluster 173 yards of total offense and forced 4 turnovers. To add to the mistakes, Tennessee accounted for 7 sacks, coming off all sorts of different blitz packages.

Tennessee was using their tricks again this week by splitting the playing time of Tyler Bray and dual-threat Joel Jordan all game long. Jordan was a perfect 7-7 and 104 yards on the day while Bray threw the 2 TD's to Hunter and Rogers.

Marlin Lane had trouble all day getting the running game going so Jordan was used alot in that fashion as well to make plays as he finished with 64 yards on 5 carries, often catching the defense over-pursuing to Lane.

The Tennessee QB's again found their friends Justin Hunter and Da'Rick Rogers who have been essentially unguardable this season. The two combined for 13 Rec and 255 yards 2TDs on the afternoon, again cementing their legacy within the programs history.

The Volunteers are recovering nicely after being upset at the hands of Vanderbilt a few weeks back and look to take control of the SEC with a tough stretch of games coming up.

    Justin Hunter- 7REC 146YDS TD
