Here's the tentative off-season schedule now that Curtis and Moe finally have their power back. It is based on a 48 hour turnaround which truly isn't unmanageable, but if it is the owners involved need to let us know. James M, I figure you want to get the season moving along just as much as everybody else. If this schedule poses as a problem for you to be using a temporary location please say so. If there is anyone else that was affected by the storm who will be unable to abide by this tentative schedule, please let us know.

I reiterate... During the entire off-season, your team cannot go below 48 players at any given time. Please be aware of all your transactions. If you trade beyond your limitations, it's your *@$% up and we cannot fix it. Make sure you are doing the homework for you AND your negotiator. The schedule will move up if the remaining weeks advance more quickly than the scheduled deadlines. All times provided are subject to change...

My friend Adam is going run my team while I'm on a cruise during the first offseason. I'm just going to give him my account information here, on YIM, and on PSN so he can complete any transactions and keep my team afloat while I'm gone.

I'll be heading out this Saturday morning (11/10) and I'll be back in the mid-afternoon on the 11/18.

This post will also be made in the out of town thread.

If that's the case, we could postpone the draft to Sunday night so that you could attend if the draft falls on that weekend.

I'm guessing this also includes immediately after the re-signings stage? The reason I ask is because I'm sure a lot of us have players up for off-season resigning this year (I have 21 players myself), and if I am unable to come to terms with a few players (let's just say, 5 of my top 10 re-signees), would this mean I would have to pretty much re-sign all of my lower-level would-be FAs, even if they're horrible and I don't want them back? Also, there would be the chance that I cannot come to terms with enough of my re-signees and that would push me to below 48 as well.

also, it looks like we won't be breaking for Thanksgiving? I don't know the exact dates yet, but I know I'll be gone for about a week there.

I personally think we should break for Thanksgiving (thursday through Sunday) as families do go out of town. The same should be done for Xmas for 3-4 days.

Tyler's question is regarding the quote... "I reiterate... During the entire off-season, your team cannot go below 48 players at any given time."

I will be looking into this later tonight. If the online CCM allows rosters to be less than 48; then we will allow it during the off-season.

Those dates are all tentative. Typically we extend the regular season weekly deadlines over the holidays to allow for such things. However, with the storm related inactivity, we have suffered unexpected delays which directly effect the off-season activities. The off-season activities are typically only 24-48 hrs in length depending on what the activity is. We can most likely combine the 2013 pre-season free agency and trading deadline on Tuesday, 11/20, and then open FA on Wednesday, 11/21. From there we could keep FA open over the weekend to allow for the holiday. That would mean, however, that the draft would fall on a weekday night the following week. We'll have a better handle on where things are at once we get closer to the holiday and we will poll again for a head count at that time.
