For the first time since week 11 of the previous season, the Houston Texans were able to win a game in their own house. The Texans have always for some reason seemed to play better on the road, as evidenced by opening this season for a 3 game win streak in all away games and then coming home to lose 2 straight. After using the bye week, the Texans look to be able to get the season back on track.

After a low scoring 1st quarter with the Texans leading 3-0, both teams would each put up 2 TDs in the second. QB Samuel Billi would connect on both TD passes to WR Dematrae Magee for the home team. It looked as if Houston would be taking a 17-7 lead into halftime, but just before intermission, Andrew Luck would hit Darrius Heyward-Bey wide open in stride for a big 80 yard toss to close the gap at 17-14.

The second half would also start out slow and the only score of the 3rd quarter was an Arian Foster TD run to extend Houston's lead 24-14 heading into the final stanza. This was when the Colts came roaring back. Early in the quarter, Luck would put together another long TD drive to cut the lead to 24-21. Houston would fail to be able to turn their next drive into points and have to give the ball back to the Colts nursing the 3 point lead late in the game. Luck would again drive all the way down the field and hit TE Coby Fleener for the game leading TD with 28 seconds left on the clock. Hoping for a miracle, but still having all 3 timeouts in their pocket, the Texans would somehow get down the field on 3 passes, using a timeout after each tackle, getting down to the 38 yard line and leaving just enough time for David Buehler to come away as the hero after making the 55 yarder, just barely inside the left upright as time expired.

55 yarder?! Geez. I've struggled to hit from 40 yards+ this entire release!
