After a rough start to the season where Houston would open up to 4 straight losses, they would get the win today, their 6th win in the last 8 games, evening their record for the first time this season at 6-6. The Texans had to overcome a tough rough game though to accomplish that. Both teams offenses would struggle early as the Jaguars would lead 3-2 most of the first half. Late in the 2nd quarter, both teams would reach the endzone, including Jacksonville scoring on a Clint Session 90+ yard pick 6, one of his unbelievable 3 INTs in the game. Houston would take the lead again in the 4th quarter on Matt Schaub to Andre Johnson TD pass, but Houston would fail to convert the 2 point conversion, leaving the score at 15-10 Texans. Jacksonville would be able to get all the way down the field in the closing minutes of the game, scoring the go-ahead TD on a 4th and 1 Blaine Gabbert TD run, but they too would also fail to get the 2 point conversion. With less than a minute left, and the Jaguars up 16-15, after a short kickoff, Houston would manage to get into field goal range after a 37 yard strike to Andre Johnson to set up the game winning field goal attempt. As the clock would expire, rookie kicker Jordan Leonesio would hit the 42 yarder for the 18-16 win, propelling the Texans to 6-6 and right back in the thick of things heading into a division showdown with the Tennessee Titans next week. Good game dmass
