    Texans 21
    Jaguars 16

The Jaguars defense came to play, forcing three turnovers and knocking QB Matt Murphy out for 4 weeks. With the chips down, the Texans turned to HB Walter Stephens, who responded with 166 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Texans defense surrendered a couple of long drives to the Jags, but were able to hold up when it counted, forcing 3 field goals. The Jags made a late push, driving the ball to the 2 yard line, only to have the clock run out before they could run one last play. This improves the Texans to 3-0, all on the road. The team travels to Washington next week, before returning to Houston for 5 straight home games. The Texans will be forced to turn to back up quarterback Brendan Kay.

good game Alex. I feel lucky to have squeaked this one out.

I should also mention the Texans got lucky with 3 critical face mask penalties. Sometimes its better to be lucky....
