Houston would barely come away with the road victory in week 8 to get their 4th win in a row, upping their record to 5-2 on the season.

Matt Schaub would have a great day, going 15 of 18 for 306 yards and 3 TDs and no picks. Jaguars QB Carl Elliot had a great game as well, going 20 of 33 for 325 yards and 2 TDs, but his 1 interception was returned for a TD by Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson. Jacksonville had little trouble on the ground as Maurice Jones-Drew would rush for 99 yards on 18 carries and 1 TD. The same could not be said for Houston, as their HBs were stuffed all game, with the best they could do was Arian Foster's 15 yards on 18 carries. Schaub's efficient passing and a tough Texans defense would be what would lead them to victory this week.

In a game that was essentially a shootout, the key moment of the game occurred with 15 seconds left, as the Jags would cut into the 31-24 Houston lead on a TD strike to Justin Blackmon. Instead of going for the easy PAT, Jacksonville decided to go for 2 and the win, not wanting to extend the game any further into overtime, but it was FS Tenard Jackson who would bat down the pass attempt in the end zone to seal the victory for the Texans. Good game dmass
