    Texas A&M Season Preview
Texas A&M kicks of 2012 season in a new conference and with a new coach. Coach Mosley plans on moving the ball in a higher speed than the SEC is used too, however he wants to break away from the Air Raid style A&M has shown the past few seasons. Look for a more balanced attack as the Aggies try to keep clock control and keep their defense off the field.
Offensively A&M returns many starters with essentially the entire O-Line returning, Uzoma Nwachukwu and Ryan Swope at WR, Christine Michael and Ben Melena at RB returning. Jamiele Showers will be the fresh face on the offense but he has been impressive during the summer practices and will have a easy start, facing LA Tech first week. With the Aggies new balanced attack, look for Christine Michael to hit high numbers on the ground and Ryan Swope to break SEC receiving records his first year in. This Aggie offense should give the SEC stout defenses fits all seasons.
DEFENSE: The Aggies weak point this season will be on the defensive side of the ball. A&M lost more than half of their defense last year. The linebackers and secondary will be very inexperienced this year which may be the Achilles heel of the defense. The Aggies have changed their Defense style from the 3-4 to the 4-3 in preparation for the new conference. Mosley has been very vocal about returning the Wrecking Crew lead by Damontre Moore and Spencer Nealy on the line backed up by Sean Porter at OLB.
This new season features nothing but change for the Aggies but they feel very confident. Look for the Aggies to grow this year and compete against these top teams. A&M comes into one of the toughest conferences in the NCAA, with games against Florida, LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss and old foe Mizzou.
